What does this mean?

Huge quiet double bedroom in artsy Georgian flat in the heart of historic Clifton Village. Big bathroom with power shower to wind up in and large bath tub to wind down in. Full use of kitchen (we love to cook), free parking, and easy access to theatres.

Guest Parking

We are in a residents parking area, but you will be able to park in front of our garage for free. However, we do require advance notice for that.

The Area and Transport

We're located right in the heart of historic Clifton Village - the trendy Georgian district of Bristol. 2 minutes walk from numerous coffee bars, restaurants, independent shops, and fabulous food shops. You're spoilt for choice. It's a 20 /25 minute (downhill - everything in Bristol involved hills!) walk to the main theatres. Or you can take the bus or the river taxi (runs mainly in the summer months). We're right by the historic Clifton suspension bridge, and just a short walk from the Downs. If you are a runner, there are plenty of routes to choose from away from traffic. It's a lovely part of Bristol. We're lucky to live here.

If you need to leave early once the stay has begun, one week's notice is required.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts and 1 other paying Guest.

Full use of the kitchen. You have predominant use of the main bathroom, however we might use the shower in there in the morning (when you are still asleep) and in the evening for a bath (when you are at the theatre). When you are in the house, the main bathroom is exclusively yours to use. So feel free to spread your toiletries out.

Excluded Facilities

We don't mind occasional use of the living room if you are here. Our bedroom and small bathroom are out of bounds.

It was lovely to stay with Karen. The room was very clean and the bathroom really was totally mine while I was there. Super friendly and accomodating hosts they even shared dinner and some wine with me when I arrived late after multiple delayed trains.
