A light and airy medium sized single room with plenty of wardrobe and storage space, bureau desk, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and wifi.

Shared use of kitchen/garden and occasional use of living and dining spaces on request.

The kitchen includes a washer, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, hob cooker and oven.

My son and I both work part-time away from the house, and I occasionally work from home, mostly doing online roleplays.
Although we both enjoy playing music, we are considerate to other house members/neighbours.

We are both chatty and friendly but also enjoy our own space and privacy and are respectful of our lodgers having the same needs.
The house is warm and double-glazed, but we also have a few electric fans on hand for those hotter days.
The street is closed off at the far end so we don't have any passing traffic. Parking is free, though it can sometimes get a bit chaotic, but there are always spaces on nearby streets.

A regular and reliable bus service runs past the end of our road with a choice of buses, all going into the town centre, stopping very close to the theatres. It's approximately 20 minutes from here to the centre.

Within walking distance there are Italian cafes, pizza restaurants, take aways and shops, with a great choice of pubs within approximately 10 minutes walking distance.

We are a few minutes walk from a large Tesco and further along the same road is the lovely Millhouses park with a great cafe and boating lake.

10 minutes up the hill is Woodseats High Street with a variety of fresh food shops, supermarkets and micro pubs.

For any nature lovers, we are approximately 30 minutes drive from the vast and beautiful Peak District.
