I had a really wonderful stay with Gill. She's the perfect host.
The location of the flat is fantastic and the value for money is spot on. The bedroom is small, but the photograph clearly shows this and Gill makes you feel more than welcome to use the living spaces in her flat as if they were you... read more r own.
Great spacious kitchen with a big outdoor space at the back which was just fantastic during the warm weather.
I will most certainly be staying here again whenever I am back working in London.

I spent 3 night in Gill's home. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and very relaxed atmosphere.
Gill's home is on a very quiet street with no traffic noise. A great place to come "home " to after a long day on set.

The Digs were first rate, and great value for London.
Although not in the west End, all the theatres are no more than a 4 min tube ride away or the bus if preferred.
The area is well appointed with a Sainsbury's in the next street as well as a host of local shops and restaurants nearby.
Gi... read more ll Hughes the landlady is very welcoming, and has excellent local knowledge, the flat has a good atmosphere and is well decorated and you get the run of the place and the two cats.
The area is quiet with lovely parks in the area.

Gi... read more ll Hughes the landlady is very welcoming, and has excellent local knowledge, the flat has a good atmosphere and is well decorated and you get the run of the place and the two cats.
The area is quiet with lovely parks in the area.

The room itself is admittedly small but it more than suited my needs. Also, the fact that you are welcome to make use of the large kitchen and comfortable living room more than make up for it. Gill's also been working on her sizable garden and I'm sure that when she's finished it will be finished to the same high standard as the rest of the flat.
One quirk of the flat is that there isn't a lock on the bathroom door. It's not a big enough flat not to know if someone's in the bathrooom, though, and it never caused us a problem, though I can imagine that other guests might be more pernickety about that.
An easy walk to the tube and good bus links around London.
I'd highly recommend these digs and hope to stay there again in the future.
