About these Digs

Living with Host

What does this mean?

The bedroom is on the first floor and is front facing. You get the afternoon sun, if there is any! Please use coasters and protect the lovely antique wooden furniture in the room.
You have use of the shared bathroom on the same floor, and also the shower room on the ground floor. You’re also welcome to use the kitchen and garden.
The sitting room is not for guest use.
Please note there is no microwave in the house.

This is my home. I am neurodivergent and a creative person. My home is my safe place. It can seem chaotic and messy to some people - especially anyone with OCD. Whilst I try to keep shared spaces tidy, please do ask me (kindly) to tidy them if you need me to.
I would much prefer something is said whilst you are staying than complaining to TheatreDigs after your stay.
I am kind, and understanding and approachable!

Guest Parking

No parking options. I recommend Park&Ride if you must drive.

The Area and Transport

Jericho is a great area. Close to city centre -10/15 minute walk, where most of the theatres are. The other theatres are a short bus ride or (hire a) bicycle ride away.
The canal and Port Meadow and river are minutes away - for walking, running (and swimming in the river). Lots of pubs, too many coffee shops for the area(!?) and lots of cafés and restaurants to choose from.

The sitting room and my therapy room (in the basement) are private areas.
My bedroom is also on the first floor, which is private as well.

Excluded Facilities

My therapy room in the basement and the sitting room on the first floor are not available to guest use.

15 minute flat walk to the theatre in a safe neighbourhood with a shop on the way home too. Lovely big room and Alice is really kind and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Alice was lovely. I wish we had more time to hang out as I was so busy there. Lots to do shops restaurants cafés, right outside your door. The bed was cozy lots of light. I had a bathroom to myself, which was perfect. One thing I would say is if it’s going to be hot, grab a fan!
