Car parking is free on my street.
The Area and Transport
Inner city multicultural neighbourhood. My house is on a residential street off a main route into Liverpool city centre. It is a 20-minute bus journey (86, 86a, 86c) or 45-minute walk to the theatres; electric scooters also available nearby. Close to parks, shops, pubs, gym/swimming pool.

I live alone, but my partner, Andy, and young grandson, Cillian, are often around.
Your bedroom has no lock, but I will only enter by arrangement. You will have access to the family bathroom, kitchen, morning room and (by arrangement) sitting room, as well as my ivy-clad wildlife-friendly yarden!
The house is full of books, as I am a retired bookseller - feel free to borrow! And there is a piano you are welcome to use. Generally, I like my guests to make themselves at home, and be as sociable or not as they wish.

There are three steps up to the front door and a flight of stairs to your room, so it is not wheelchair accessible. However, if you have other access requirements, I am very happy to discuss and do my best to accommodate your needs. Please ask!

Your room has only a single bed, but you are welcome to have children (or any other age friends!) to visit. My young grandson visits frequently and there are lots of toys and books in the house. If you wish to have a family member stay occasionally, it is possible a bigger room with double bed in the house may be available - do ask.

Mandy is the perfect host. Such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere with a tea, coffee (and chocolate) station to boot. Very helpful and warm.

Mandy was a really lovely, welcoming hostess.She was very informative & communicative, & helping me with a phone problem when mine stopped working & discovered where to go to fix it.Lovely warm,comfy home & room.Free on street parking.Great WiFi.About a 40 minute walk to the Playhouse but the bus stop is about a 5 minute walk away & takes 20-25 minutes into town at £2 per journey.A big Asda about 5 mins away.I had some great conversations with Mandy but she’s also conscious of giving you space.

Lovely cozy room on a nice quiet street. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Easy to get to the centre by bus or car.

Mandy is a lovely host. Welcoming, clear in communication, and has prepared space in all of the shared parts of the house, which is really kind and intentional. The room had everything I needed and was very comfy. Bus transport and Voi scooters are really close and easily accessed. Thank you, Mandy

Mandy was very warm and welcoming on arrival - excited to hear about my visit. Friendly host from the moment we exchanged our first email and her communication continued to be great from then onwards. Digs were clean, warm and tidy with refreshments provided. As a recent TheatreDigs user and touring novice, I was blessed to have this as my first stay on tour. Mandy is an incredibly welcoming and thoughtful host, who makes an effort to ensure your stay in Liverpool is as comfortable as possible.
The property is situated close by a regular bus route into town which is excellent. Additionally, you’re right next to a couple of supermarkets, an incredibly affordable gym and Sefton park is nearby if you’re keen for a run or saunter.

Staying with Mandy was a delight! The room was cosy, tidy and contained everything I needed for my stay. The house is also filled with books which is always a plus! Mandy was a very welcoming and friendly host from the start, and her communication was good too. Digs were clean, warm and tidy. I didn't walk to the Empire, but it is a very easy 15/20 min bus ride/drive into the city centre. It was a lovely stay!

I've had a great time staying here! I really felt welcome and at home, and I could equally keep to myself or have some lovely chats with Mandy, with no pressure either way. It's a lovely little room in a lovely house with wonderfully cheerful and friendly atmosphere and a good location for anything that might be needed as well - and Mandy has been great for tips around the area as well! Would definitely stay with her again if I come back to Liverpool!

Mandy was a lovely host, her house was comfortable and welcoming. It’s a short walk to a bus stop making it an easy commute into town. We had some lovely chats and she communicated with me amazingly.

A lovely cosy single room. If you don’t mind bus or a walk then this is wonderful place to stay. Quiet and with parking space. Mandy is lovely and friendly host.

Mandy is as warm and welcoming as it gets, and the room she offers is spotless and full of nice touches that show she really cares about her home and her guests. My stay was very short but I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely quiet room in a very cosy house with very friendly hosts! House is very near a bus stop for the city, and right next to the coop for food. Mandy and Andy are very welcoming! Highly recommended digs.
