Living with Host
Flat is quiet and secure, with a lovely view from the balcony that runs in front of the kitchen and living room offering fabulous views and sunsets across the city centre sprawl. You will be sharing with me, a museum tour guide by day, audio book/podcast and binge watcher by night when not out with friends. I enjoy cooking and conversation as much as quiet time, and understand the need for both. I dog sit a small and adorable Pekingese/shih Shih Tzu mix from time to time. If this is a problem let me know and I will forgo having him for the duration of your stay. Laundry facilities are available downstairs at a £1 per wash and 20p per 15 min dry time. Bath & shower facilities are shared, as are the large lounge seating area, dining table, and balcony with furniture, plus access to various streaming facilities such as Netflix, Prime, Now TV, Disney Plus etc. I also have a projector for film nights that you are welcome to use/watch with.
Guest Parking
All theatres are either accessible on foot or public transport, and unfortunately secure parking isn't available at this property without registering vehicle's insurance here. There is a bike store I have a lock and key for that will need pre-booking.
The Area and Transport
Apollo Theatre, 2 mins from flat.
Academy music venues, RNCM, the Dance House and Palace Theatre all on Oxford Road,15-20 min walk. Other venues across town include HOME, 53two, The Oprah House, Aviva Studios (was Factory) are still walkable 30-40 mins but free and paid buses are available to all. Trams to the Lowry take about 30 mins from Piccadilly Station, a 15 min walk. Hope Mill Theatre is 25 mins walk. NB: I dog sit small dog/s regularly on request, so please state if this is an issue, as I can work around it.

This space is shared with 1 Host.
The flats are gated community that requires the key fob I give you to enter through the outer gate and ground floor door, then key to the front door. The flat is on the 10th floor.
The bedrooms aren't lockable. The bathroom, kitchen, living room, hallway and balcony are shared with yours truly. The carpark is for permanent residents only. There is parking outside which is only free after 6pm on weekdays and on weekends from Fri 6pm to Monday, 6pm. I have a separate key for use of one of the bike storage containers if required, for which a £10 deposit is required.
There is a laundry facility accessible on the ground floor using the key fob. There are 2 washing machines from £1 per wash, and the dryer is just 20pence for 15 minutes. The laundry is open from 8am Mon with 24 hour access until Fri at 4pm (last wash 2.30pm). It closes on weekends.
Excluded Facilities
The gated carpark is for permanent residents only I'm afraid. The parking facilities outside on Wadeson Road are only free after 6pm weekdays, but free from Fri 6pm until Mon 6am. There is a garden area downstairs in the gated grounds with benches to sit on.

I prefer no shoes in the house. Smoking only outdoors please on the balcony using the ashtray provided. Please don't throw cigg-butts over.
I dog-sit a small Pekingese/Shih tzu but if this is a problem I can forgo for the duration of your stay.
The toilet flush can be a bit troublesome and then prone to break loose if people get heavy handed. It is easier if I show you what I mean, when you're here.
I am a regular 10pm sleeper on a work day, which can be weekends, so unless you have to for whatever reason, and the electric shower being a noisy device, I would appreciate use of such facilities be avoided after this time.
One half of a double kitchen cupboard will be for your use (so two shelves) and fridge and freezer space will be allocated upon arrival. You will have a shelf and drawer in each.

Had an amazing stay at jennies, she's was so accommodating I felt really comfortable the place was very clean and easy to use everything made the place feel like home would definitely stay there again if she would have me!

Could not have asked for a better stay. Jenny was immediately welcoming and the flat was a great comfort to come home to each evening! I really enjoyed my time there.

Staying with Jenny was a dream! Her flat is gorgeous and she couldn’t have been more welcoming. Incredible view from the balcony, comfy bed (and fantastic projector screen!) I had the perfect stay, will absolutely be back in the future :)
