Living with Host
Bright double room available in Peckham for stays of varying lengths and access to your own bathroom and all common areas in a cosy home.
The living space is a good sized open plan kitchen and living/dining room. Wifi is included and there is a Firestick with Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+ and NOW all set up on the main TV in the living room with guest accounts available so you can use those anytime.
There's no garden but Burgess Park is less than 5 mins walk away with plenty of outdoor space to explore including a lake and woodland area.
Smokers welcome to stay but must smoke outside and dispose of cigarette butts sensibly.
A bit about me - I have a drama degree and worked in the arts for nearly 20 years before retraining as a physiotherapist.
Check in and out dates and times are limited depending on my shift pattern. When you request a booking, I'll check the rota and confirm these with you before booking.
Guest Parking
The property is within the ULEZ zone but outside the Congestion Zone. There is permit parking around the flat which is free evenings and weekends. I have prepaid visitor parking permits so let me know if you need somewhere to park in the day. There is a limit on the number of permits I can buy each year; please let me know in advance if you require a permit so I can confirm the number of days I can cover. There will be an additional cost for these.
The Area and Transport
The flat is in a quiet residential part of Peckham with easy access to central London. There are tonnes of buses in easy walking distance which easily cover most of central London with several 24 hour routes. There is easy access to Elephant and Castle, Oval and Vauxhall tube stations by bus. Trains from Peckham Rye serve London Bridge, Victoria, Kings Cross, Blackfriars and the London Overground from Clapham Junction to Highbury & Islington. There are usually Lime and Forest bikes around nearby to use too.

Please note that check in is in person and will be coordinated around my work hours. Depending on my rota/day of the week, hours are negotiable.
Smokers welcome but smoking in the property is not allowed - please smoke/vape outdoors away from windows and dispose of rubbish sensibly.
The building has quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
No shoes indoors- please bring slippers/warm socks. If needed there are spare chunky socks available for you to borrow.
Please let me know of any spillages or breakages immediately.
Washing machine is available for personal use only.
Only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet to reduce the risk of plumbing issues.

I absolutely loved staying with Dee! Her home is clean and tidy, and I was very comfortable there. Super easy to get into central with bus stops a short walk away, and the flat is in a really nice, quiet residential area. It was really lovely getting to know Dee and chatting in the evenings! I would highly recommend staying with Dee - will definitely be my go-to for my future London stays!

Dee is a great host, with a lovely home. Nice easy transport links to the Oval where I was rehearsing. I didn't see much of her, but she was welcoming and friendly and very helpful when I did see her.

Had the best stay with Dee, absolutely lovely host. Very cosy home with everything you need, the bed was so comfy! I worked at Mountview so was only a 10-15 minute walk away which was great, then a few more minutes to the Overground. Will definitely stay again if I find myself in the area :)

Nadine was so accommodating and made us feel very welcome.
I think her spare room was great value for money and we were very grateful as we booked with her last minute.
She was really helpful and gave us information on where all the public transport links were and she has free parking right outside of her apartment.
I would happily recommend her spare room.
