Living with Host

What does this mean?

Double room available just 5 mins walk from the train station and 15mins walk from theatres (Congress/Devonshire Park). With a 15~20 min walk to the beach.

Living with host, shared bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and sink, and additional toilet, use of kitchen (recently renovated) and washing machine/dishwasher. Wi-Fi

Room contains a comfy double bed, black out blind, dresser, desk, wardrobe, hairdryer. TV with Netflix, Disney etc. There is also a fan in the room for the warmer months, and extra blankets available in winter (and heating of course) The room also has its own lock for your safety/security.

Lots of shops and cafes nearby. There is some parking but it’s first come first served. Top floor flat, 4th floor. Lift is now back in service as of April 2026!

I work from home around 3/4 days a week, and commute into London the rest, so am out all day on office days.

This space is shared with 1 Host.

The bedroom is lockable, the bathroom, kitchen and additional WC are all shared with host. I make space in the fridge and allocate a cupboard in the kitchen, and you can help yourself to tea and coffee.

Excluded Facilities

I work from home in the lounge most days, so this is not in use during the day, but there is space in the kitchen to eat and the TV in the bedroom has Netflix etc.

lovely room at a cracking price. Holly was very accommodating as a host and made me feel very welcome. 10 mins to the theatre. Will be back next time im in Eastbourne.

Holly is a great host and understood the need to leave guests to their own devices. The flat is on the top floor of the building with a few flights of stairs to navigate (lift is out of order) but that didn’t bother me at all. Really lovely flat and decorated tastefully. Wasn’t cold at all which was a massive relief. Close to the station but further from the theatre. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful time staying with Holly! The room was very comfortable and spacious, the theatre was only a 10/15 minute walk away and so was the sea front. Would definitely return should I be in Eastbourne again!

Really enjoyed my stay with Holly, she is a welcoming host and I had everything and more I needed for my stay. The room is spacious and bright and the location is prime, took me 12 minutes to walk to the theatre and has the added bonus of being 3-5 minutes walking from the train station. Couldn't fault it, thanks Holly!

5 stars all the way! Holly is the perfect host, warmly welcoming and wonderfully trusting. This light and airy accommodation is close to theatres and town and provides you with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the room benefits from blackout blinds. I hope to play Eastbourne again and will definitely stay at Holly’s. Thank you.
