Living with Host

What does this mean?

Cosy double bedroom in a two-bed, third-floor Cardiff Bay flat, sharing with married professionals who both work in the arts. We totally understand what it's like to work away from home and to share with strangers and will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible!

Your room features a double bed and blackout curtains. Bathroom has both waterfall and power shower-heads over the bath, kitchen features an oven, electric hob, microwave and boiling water tap. You’re welcome to use the washing machine at no extra cost. The living room is a spacious, light-filled room connecting to the kitchen. Please help yourself to kitchen basics; herbs/spices/condiments etc.

There is a keyboard and both acoustic and electric guitars in the flat which you’re welcome to use at reasonable hours. We can provide a backdrop, ring light and tripod and also have a Rode NT1 mic and pop shield, should a recording session/self-tape come along.

Guest Parking

The flat has one allocated parking space which you're welcome to use if Geraint is working away. We can ask our neighbours if they have a spare space if ours is in use, but can't guarantee it unfortunately.

The Area and Transport

The flat is a short walk (5-10 mins) to Cardiff Bay and all its attractions, including the WMC. We are approximately a 20 minute walk from the city centre, 35 minutes to the New Theatre.

CANCELLATION/BOOKING AMENDMENT POLICY
Please note that bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours notice will result in your booking deposit being retained. We are happy to accommodate amendment requests where possible but require a minimum of 72 hours notice.

We'd be grateful if you could remove your shoes while in the house, thanks! Please recycle your rubbish/food waste using the bins provided. The building is strictly non-smoking.

This was such a lovely stay, only minutes away from the Millenium Centre and Cardiff Bay (stunning if you’re into running). The room has everything you need, kettle, desk etc. R & G are very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend!
