A large king-size room, with a King-size brass bed, Narnia wardrobe, tub chair, a chest of drawers and a low-boy.

Single bedroom with solid pine bed, side table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. In summer the open window has wafts of jasmine.

Both in a double bay fronted Victorian townhouse, built-in 1884 and still with many of her original features, a few wrinkles and curvy lines. We overlook an Edwardian pocket park in an Edwardian square, off the main road and so quiet.

Whichever room you choose, you'll have a choice of duvet tog , plus, you'll find drawers and a quantity of wooden hangers in the wardrobe for your clothes, mirrors, a hairdryer, and a 4 piece fluffy towel bale, including an extra-large bath sheet.

Underfloor heating throughout the house keeps your toes toasty and your head clear.

Wood-panelled office with a large desk, copier, printer, fax etc. plus extensive library, so you can apply for that next big role. Unlimited fibre broadband to keep you entertained and in touch with everyone.

Share of large eat-in Kitchen, separate fridge for guests, Range cooker and large dining table. There is a separate utility room with a washer and dryer and dishwasher.

2 Extra-large wet-room bathrooms. One with toilet, bidet, a whirlpool bath, and shower/ steam cabinet, so you can soothe those vocal cords before your musical role! Extra towels are available here too.
The second wet-room downstairs has toilet, Arc rainshower with body jets, and a whirl and airpool bath with lights and heater for extra long soaks. The acoustics in this room are perfect for practicing your scales or warm up/down!

A Sauna and a yogic/Thai massage are also available. So you can have a spa day before the single show!

We are quiet, tidy owners, who understand the late mornings and late nights. We both work from home, so will be here to greet you. We will probably be attending your show too!

Close to Northern General Hospital, with City Centre for the Theatres or Meadowhall for shopping, a leg stretch or a short bus ride away.

On-street parking on a quiet road.
Smokers are welcome to smoke outside, there is a lovely swing seat available.

This house offers a great big airy room with a fantastically comfy bed and if that wasn't enough the bathroom boasts an incredible shower and all mod bathing cons.... My lovely hosts were very understanding of my weird theatre style working hours and endeavoured to make my stay as comfortable as poss... read more ible - meaning it felt like home away from home which is very important when one is working away so hard and for so long....

Great links to the centre of town and not too expensive in a taxi on the way back out.

If I ever have the pleasure of going back to lovely Sheffield I will definitely be trying for a room here again!!!

John and Heather were lovely to stay with and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Access to bathroom with shower and bath and kitchen.

Very regular buses straight into town and a nice quiet location.

Fantastic friendly hosts and lovely house and rooms.

Nice 40 minute walk to Lyceum or buses go at least every 5 minutes from end of road.

A lovely stay in Sheffield - the Lyceum and Crucible are a forty-five minute walk away, otherwise there are a lot of bus routes that all seemed to go into the centre of town from the bus stop around the corner. A lovely big house and a comfortable room - the photos are a very accurate representation. John and Heather were excellent hosts - friendly and welcoming.

I'd definitely be keen to stay with them again, highly recommended.
