Living with Host

What does this mean?

The room contains a king size bed, double wardrobe, two bedside tables and lamps, two easy chairs and a small table. A kettle with several fruit teas and coffee is available with biscuits.
There is a self contained ensuite off the bedroom with a fixed shower and a handheld shower.
The room is on the groundfloor and is accessed directly on entering the house via the hallway.
There is a Smart tv in the room, hairdryer, internet access and a CO2 detector.

Food is not allowed in the room but can be eaten by prior arrangement in the shared kitchen which is on the first floor. Smoking is not allowed on the premises.

Guest Parking

Guests can park on the drive situated next to the house.
There is also access to the ev charging point on the driveway with a charge for the electricity used.

The Area and Transport

Chestnut Rise is one of fourteen houses on a quiet and sheltered estate.
It is surrounded by trees yet is only fifteen minutes walk into the centre of Truro and the Hall for Cornwall. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road from the house that takes you directly to the bus station if this is preferred.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts.

The guest bedroom is self contained on the groundfloor. Guests will be given their own front door key which needs to be returned on leaving. The hosts sleep on the top floor with the middle floor consisting of the lounge and kitchen.

Excluded Facilities

As the room offered is self contained access to the rest of the house is not allowed.

One of my favourite digs!
Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Kettle tea and coffee in room. Great location (about 15 min walk from Hall for Cornwall), very comfy bed in a quiet, safe residential area.
Ritchie and Jill are the perfect host. Kind and friendly. Lovely chats and also completely respectful of your privacy.
Will 100 percent return next time I’m in Truro. X
