Calm & Comfortable Double Rooms (Manchester)

I'd like to welcome guests who are vegetarian (or veggie friendly- willing to be veggie for your stay) and non-smokers.

My home is an LGBTQI+ & diversity friendly space.

The all-white room is slightly larger. Both rooms are on the 2nd (top) floor. When you are the only guest staying, you can have the bathroom to yourself.

I provide essentials such as loo roll, hand wash, house cleaning products. You are welcome to use my crockery, pans etc.

It's a lovely large, light and airy space, inside and out, arranged on 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and drying space, plus an additional restroom.

There is a spacious paved garden at the back of the house and a balcony which catches the evening sun (during summer months-obviously!) at the front.

You can park off road, at the front of the house.
There’s space in the garage for your bike -if you like to cycle.

My house is about 15 mins drive to city centre/media city; a 20 minute walk to the Metro stop and a few minutes walk from bus stops. It's about 30 min bus ride from the city centre-depending on traffic/time of day.

Take a short walk to Chorlton where there are cafes, delis, bars, independent shops and an organic grocery.

Just up the road there's Alexandra Park - great for a stroll/brisk walk/jog...and a cuppa in the cafe! Close by there is a new leisure centre with gym & swimming pool (sauna & steam room).

I'm a primary school teacher, so I tend to be working/marking etc most nights. When I do get any time to myself, I enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, yoga, including anti-gravity yoga! ( there isn't a pic of my aerial hammock here!) theatre, cinema and dance. I’m also a Zumba instructor. I also try to be eco-conscious: recycling, re-using etc, and conserving energy & water, wherever possible.
