Medium sized double room with some storage available. Double bed - Shared bathroom which has good sized walk in shower recently installed
Use of conservatory with TV if wanted.

Pets sometimes visit when family stay
25 mins walk to the Mayflower and on excellent bus route.

Space on the drive if no other family staying otherwise no issues with parking on the street
The Area and Transport
Located in Shirley very close to local shops and bus services which go v close to mayflower theatre and about a 20/. 25 min walk to the theatre depending on how fast you walk !

I had a great week staying here! Getting the bus to the theatre was quick and easy

Room is spacious and ideally situated if you grab a bus into the theatre. I actually walked in every day and found it a nice length walk, not too arduous! Maggie was friendly and welcoming, just a shame we didn't really see much of each other! Would definitely recommend and happily book again. Thankyou!

Lovely place to stay! Very comfortable - no complaints! Only a 20 minute walk to the Mayflower, with lots of busses also going past.

Really wonderful digs! I was only there briefly, but Maggie was the perfect host. The room was very comfortable and the commute to The Mayflower was quick and easy. Thank for having me Maggie!

The house and the room were beautiful. Everything was very clean and organized, which I loved. Maggie and Pete were wonderful, very friendly, and helpful. My acting trip to Southampton couldn't have worked out any better. I truly recommend this place. It was easily one of the best stays I've had.

Had a lovely time staying at Maggie and Pete's place. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet and they were very welcoming. Lots of local amenities too and not too far from The Mayflower.

Maggie and Pete were warm and welcoming hosts. Maggie really tries to look after you. The room was clean and warm. It’s about a half hour walk to Mast studios, less to the Mayflower, but I personally don’t mind that. And it was affordable.

Such a wonderful pair ! Would highly recommend them for anyone staying in Southampton . We were welcomed with fresh towels and little choccies in our room which made us feel so welcomed as sometimes touring is very daunting . Thank you !!!

Maggie and Pete seemed really nice and the room was comfortable. I slept really well for the two nights that I stayed there. Great value gigs.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Southampton. Little bit of a walk to the Mayflower, but a really quick bus ride. The room is light, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The host family is absolutely delightful, and extremely welcoming.

James was an easy guest and we enjoyed our brief chats with him
Staying with Maggie and Pete was like home away from home. I was made to feel so welcome but they also gave me my own space. Lovely couple. I would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay with some great hosts and an elusive cat! It was a very busy week so I didn't see Maggie or Pete that often but when I did, they were happy to have a chat or just let me be, whatever I needed. Would happily stay again.
