What does this mean?

Our property is a lovely Victorian house (1864) with many original features, ( curvy staircase, fireplaces, sash windows…)
All bedrooms are on the first floor. We have 3 rooms In total.
1 cosy double room ensuite with shower, (with double bed). It overlooks the back garden so it’s a quiet room. NOTE: in this room, Internet connection is patchy
1 spacious and bright twin room (ensuite with shower)
1 twin room with exclusive use of the bathroom (with shower) directly opposite.

Whilst at present there is no use of the kitchen, there is a small fridge in the dining room, toaster, kettle, cutlery, tea/coffee and ON REQUEST, we will leave cereals, and milk.
PS We recommend our guests to consume food in the dining room rather than in the bedroom.

Guest Parking

Being in the town centre parking is not always easy, but we have free visitors parking permits for our guests. These permits will not guarantee space near the property, but allow you to park your car in our street(s).
However there is a large public car park, Ram Meadow, only 8 minutes walking distance.

The Area and Transport

We are in the heart of town, 12 minutes walk from the railway station and only three minutes from the coach station. The theatre Royal is 14 minutes walking distance from here. We live in a quiet but Central Street, it’s a great area, so close to banks, shops cafés and restaurants.

This space is shared with 1 other permanent tenant and 2 other paying Guests.

Our guests will have total freedom to come and go, we have a key safe near the property front door so our guests can check-in if I’m not here or if arriving after 10 pm.

Excluded Facilities

Please note the kitchen is NOT for Guest use however in the dining room there is a small fridge, a kettle, a toaster and a microwave for our guests ( we provide cutlery, napkins, plates, cereal bowls ..)

Had a lovely stay at Mariella’s guest house- she is very welcoming and made me feel at home. Bed was super comfortable and I really liked my room. It was very much my own secluded space which I really appreciate when touring. Whilst there’s no kitchen, the communal dining area is nice and Mariella’s equipped it with helpful items such as: a small fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery and breakfast amenities etc. It’s only 10 mins walk to the theatre too. I’d happily stay again if in the area.
