Quiet, comfortable double room overlooking the garden (Cardiff)

The house a four bedroom Victorian property built at the end of the 19th century. Situated on Cathedral Road, the house is closely situated to Pontcanna Fields - an extensive parkland through which it is a pleasant walk to the New Theatre, the Sherman Theatre and the city itself. Cathedral Road is also well served by public transport.

The house is a no smoking, child free, pet free home.

The room comprises a double bedroom which is comfortably furnished. A recently renovated, clean, comfortable King Size double room with a view over the back garden. Black out curtains, a wardrobe, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers.

The bathroom is spotlessly clean, having recently been renovated and comprises of an overhead shower, sink and toilet. The bathroom is shared and is lockable.

There is a radio and TV in the house. Netflix is available. The house has wifi.

You are welcome to use the kitchen during your stay. You’re welcome to use any utensils and there will be space in the fridge and kitchen cupboards for you to store food. The kitchen is well kitted out and you are welcome to use the washing machine.

The area around Cathedral Road hosts a number of useful facilities. The Welsh Institute of Sport is close by where, for a small fee, you can join and enjoy the gym etc. There a number of places to eat locally, from take away to pub grub and fine dining. There are a number of local shops within less than a few minutes walk away (chemist, grocers, bakery, deli and a co-op). Deliveroo serves the area well too.

There are plenty of cafes, pubs etc nearby. Chapter Arts Centre, which is within easy walking distance, offers a range of film and theatre and dance events. It also has a good bar and offers a reasonable range of food.
