Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Old Waterway Cottage is a grade II listed building in an historic village 10 mins from Canterbury City centre, and sits in a large garden with a river and weir at the bottom.
The room is a cosy double, with its own sitting room/dressing room/study off it, with tea and coffee making facilities.
Shared kitchen and bathroom and dining room with host, but meals can also be taken upstairs to your sitting room. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
There is a delightful outdoor seating and dining area to enjoy meals in fine weather, and a way-marked footpath leads out into fields at the back, where there are plentiful country walks on the doorstep, and villages pubs.
Regular buses serve the village with a 10 minute journey time to Canterbury bus station. For those with cars, there is free parking adjacent to the cottage, and it is a 10 min drive to the City.
