Living with Host

What does this mean?

It's an 1870 maisonette, just minutes from Princes Street (direct buses).
You'll be sharing with me, a Further Education lecturer and my cat, Barney.

It's a beautiful home with a private garden on a quiet street. Only resident parking is permitted and there is no through traffic which really adds to the peaceful nature of the area yet it's only 2 minutes from London Road.

Abbeyhill Colonies are also known as the Artists' Quarter and we have an annual art fair called Colony of Artists.

You will have your own double room and share the shower room with me. There is central heating, a washing machine and a pulley for drying your washing. The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven, toaster, and dishwasher.

It's ideally situated for the Playhouse or Festival Theatre.
I work during the day so am out before you wake up.

Guest Parking

The whole area is parking permits only.

The Area and Transport

20 minutes to the Playhouse or a number of buses will take you to the theatre in 5 mins.
25 minutes to the Festival Theatre or two buses will take you there in 15 minutes.

Your room is yours for the duration of your visit. I will not go in.
If you are staying longer than a week, I will provide clean towels and bedding for you.

Aileen's place was perfect; the room was clean and very comfortable, her communication was fantastic and shew as lovely to stay with. The short walk to the Playhouse was beautiful and incredibly easy. Would definitely stay there again.
