Living with Host
Top floor ( 2 flights) converted loft with private en-suite and shower. Sloped ceiling in bathroom and main room. Shower is behind the bathroom door (not in photos).Two large skylight windows with blackout blinds over looking the rear of the property.
Double bed, storage drawers and access to extra loft space for cases and bags.
Comfortable for one cosy for 2.
Small table and chair in room and built in wardrobe.
Bedding provided but please bring your own if using spray tan as it stains our bedding
Many guests bring their own towels, already discounted, or hire for additional charge £5 per bundle per stay.
No access to kitchen facilities.
Mini milk fridge in room.
Kettle
USB sockets for charging devices.
Full length mirror.
Local laundrette 0.2 miles away.
On extremely rare occasions a family dog may visit. You’ll be notified if this happens where possible. However if you have any allergies to pet hair we will deter him visiting during your stay
Guest Parking
Along the street is a mix of free, restricted and permit parking.
Unfortunately we do not get permits. Restrictions is 2 hrs free parking 8am-6pm free on Sundays.
A neighbor rents out her drive for a small fee should you wish peace of mind.
The Area and Transport
Mayflower theatre is 0.7 miles from the home.
Public transport can be taken by hire scooters/bikes 200 yards from property. Bus stop 300 yards from property. Where you’ll find a local corner shop.
Home is just out of town and away from noise of the hustle and bustle. Property is not overlooked. Windows have blackout blinds.
Plenty storage in room.
Drink making facilities and mini milk fridge.
Many power points and usb sockets.
Quiet household.
Clean and cosy smoke free home. We do not allow smoking or vaping in or near the property.

April and Stuart were great hosts, friendly and warm! The room had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable and was an easy journey to the theatre every day. I would recommend!

Very much enjoyed my stay here. It’s a cosy and very clean private attic room with an en-suite with a lovely hot shower and a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. Easily walkable to the Mayflower theatre and a really good price too. Tip if you are driving ask about the parking in the neighbours drive, it’s a bit extra a week but well worth it as lots of parking restrictions on the nearby roads. Would very happily stay again next time I’m at the Mayflower.

Lovely en-suite room with big bed and a lovely hot shower. Great location, I drove into the theatre (about 5 minutes), but easily walkable 20/25 minutes.
Friendly couple, privacy when needed, and some lovely personal touches in the room - kettle, milk etc.

I had a lovely stay with April. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely ensuite. I was lucky to be able to park next door otherwise I would have struggled to find parking. The walk to the theatre was a pleasant 15 minute walk. April was friendly and a perfect host. I would stay again.

I had an absolutely wonderful week staying in the Buddha Penthouse. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and the room itself was perfectly clean and inviting, in addition to being within reasonable distance from Southampton Central. I’d certainly return should the need arise!

Had a really lovely stay! A lovely clean room and ensuite, enough space to spend a month and be comfortable. Had a mini fridge and microwave which was very useful. Good location and safe walk home after shows. Was able to find parking when needed. April was so lovely and helpful though out my stay, adding little special touches throughout it. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

April was such a lovely host and I really enjoyed staying with her! Lovely room, clean and tidy and ensuite which was very handy to have. Very quiet and separate from the rest of the house too. Highly recommend!

April & Stuart we’re lovely hosts. The house is a very easy 10 minute walk to the theatre and having the attic room with en suite was lovely. Thank you for an amazing stay, and hopefully I will be able to stay with you again when I’m next in town.
