Living with Host

What does this mean?

Large room in EH1, five minutes walk to The Playhouse. for one guest only, with shared bathroom (with shower) in vibrant Broughton Street. 2nd floor (no lift). Food storage and fridge space is provided for the guest as well as a microwave and the kitchen can be used for eating and preparing meals. Peaceful ambience.

As of 25th July 2026 a Visitor Levy of 5% per night will be added for the first 5 days of your stay. This is required by Edinburgh City Council and should be paid in cash on arrival. (If you are staying for 5 or more nights at £45 per night this will amount to £11.25)

Car parking is difficult in central Edinburgh.

The Area and Transport

Extremely central. Close to Waverley Station and Picardy Place tram stop with direct access to the airport.

Hester was a great host and I loved the space she provided. Super quick walk to the train station which is then under 10 mins then a 5 min walk to King's Theatre. If I'm back I would definitely want to stay again x

I had a wonderful stay with Hester! The room is very spacious and quiet with a very short walk up to the Playhouse. Perfect digs!
