Living with Host
The room has a small double bed with a small cupboard, tv and a clothes stand to hang clothes, there is no wardrobe so you would need to be quite compact! There is an adjacent bathroom, with bath and shower, for your own use. The house itself is open plan with living room and a bright kitchen and a small garden and guests are welcome to use the kitchen, cooker, microwave, coffee machine etc at any time.
Bedding and towels are provided of course.
The washing machine is actually in a cupboard in my room but you are welcome to use it if you need to.
I work from home so will be in and out during the day and am often out in the evenings. Please message me before booking if possible as there is only one spare room and I sometimes have last minute arrangements with friends and family wanting to stay!

Guest Parking
There is restricted parking, and there is a charge between 10am-12pm. I can supply visitor permits for a small charge if you want to park your car during the day.
The Area and Transport
A small terraced house in a quiet road very near the river in Strand-on-the- Green, near to Kew Bridge. The nearest tube is Gunnersbury (Richmond branch of District Line) which is 15 mins walk, or Kew Bridge (mainline, overland train) which is 12 mins walk. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby and several pubs on the river. There is easy access to Richmond and Ealing with the 65 bus which goes from Kew Bridge and several buses go to Hammersmith.

Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, will have a shelf in the fridge available to them and can use kettle, toaster, microwave and hob, access to cutlery, crockery etc. Guests have bathroom for exclusive use. Washing machine is usable but needs to be arranged with me as it is in my bedroom, but not a problem

I work at home and use the downstairs space for this, so ask Guests to respect this

I had a delightful time staying with Elizabeth. These digs are absolutely gorgeous, Elizabeth is fabulous company, and the location is a very easy 30-minute commute on public transport or 15-minute cycle. Highly recommend, and can't wait to stay here again!

A wonderful stay in a bright, comfortable room, with its own bathroom. I had such a relaxing stay, and would gladly stay with Elizabeth again, as she was a great host! Thanks for having me!

Very comfortable room, with adjoining bathroom, in a beautiful home on a quiet street - a safe, well-lit 15min cycle to Richmond Theatre. Elizabeth is kind and accommodating, wonderful company, and understands the industry so one doesn't feel at all like an alien - but rather at home, with a kindred spirit.

Natalie was a perfect guest, extremely considerate, tidy, quiet and very good company, I was sorry we didn't get more time to chat and I'd be delighted to welcome her back any time.
Wow! An amazing place to stay.
I felt at home immediately and Elizabeth is a fantastic host. The room is quiet and comfortable with its own bathroom. But Elizabeth made my time there such a pleasure. A perfect stay. I can't recommend it enough.
