Living with Host

What does this mean?

We’re theatre people who understand what guests need — whether that’s some quiet privacy or a chat over a cup of tea (or even a glass of wine, if you time it right!). We want you to feel completely comfortable and at home.
You’ll have a bright single room with a desk, a kettle, and tea and coffee. You’re also very welcome to use our kitchen to make hot drinks. Help yourself to toast etc for breakfast and let us know if you have dietary preferences.
We share our home with our lovely old cat, Tommy, who’s very much part of the family. Smokers are welcome, but we ask that you only smoke outside.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to put simple meals together food, and there’s additional fridge space if needed. You’re also welcome to do the occasional load of washing during your stay. Please read our reviews -we look forward to welcoming you!

Guest Parking

Convenient parking options are available — pay to park directly outside the property via the PayByPhone app, or enjoy free weekend parking just a short distance up the hill.

The Area and Transport

We’re perfectly located for easy access to the Theatre — there’s a bus stop less than a minute from our front door that takes you straight there in about 10 minutes. Or, if you prefer, it’s a lovely 15–20 minute downhill walk right into the centre of town, where the theatre is located.
From outside the house, you can see the sea at the bottom of the hill, and it’s just a 10-minute stroll to the waterfront, where you’ll find fantastic cafés, bars, and plenty of fresh sea air.
There are also several great pubs just nearby, or you can take a short walk into Kemptown to explore its vibrant mix of cafes, restaurants and bars.
