Guest Parking

You can park for free on Cavell Rd. Please do not park outside other people’s houses / drives and use the number of spare spaces at the beginning of the road where there are no houses.

The Area and Transport

There is a stop a couple of minutes walk away. If you turn left at the end of the road, past the Peugeot Garage then the stop is shortly after that. This is the best stop as they have a digital display which tells you when the next bus is coming. They come approx every 10 minutes. A return is £4 in and back out of town. The bus will take about 10-12 minutes to get into town. You can get off at Carfax, the main crossroads in the centre, outside Paul’s patisserie, or carry on to the Westgate Shopping Centre stop. On your way back you need to get off at Freelands Road stop outside the doctor’s surgery. You can also walk into town along the river which is very picturesque. You should leave yourself half an hour.

All the spaces in the cabin are private to the guest.
You will have your own entrance with a lock box for keys to come and go at your convenience.
The garden is shared.
You are welcome to use our laundry facilities in the house - we can arrange when you arrive how to do this.

Excluded Facilities

The washing machine is in the family home.
If you need washing done, Lizzy is happy to do it for you - just ask.

Parking is with a permit only.
If you intend to bring your car, please let us know so that we can discuss the use of visitor permits.
It is best to park your car up the hill where permits are not necessary and get the bus to the house if possible.

This is a stunning little cabin tucked away in a quiet part of Oxford, the theatre is a gorgeous 45 minute walk down the river or a very easy and regular bus ride in to town. The cabin has everything you could need but Lizzy is always on hand if you need anything. Will definitely be staying again next time I am in Oxford!!!

Lovely escape, with great amenities, feels like a little holiday home of your own. Easy transport into town, Lizzy was super helpful (even tho only met on my way out!). Could not reccomend enough
