About these Digs

Living with Host

What does this mean?

We have two rooms within a household of six rooms three of which are kept for visiting family or friends.
The attic is newly refurbished and is very quiet, with double bed, large ensuite bathroom (shower and bath) and kitchen facilities an tv in 'bedsit' effect. We change bedding once a week (if requested) and family kitchen can be used too.
The double room has kitchen facilities and TV with ensuite shower - the toilet is down the hall with almost sole use. There is a toilet in the cloakroom.
We have a pet tortoise who is active April to October.
We have hosted for many years and really enjoy the theatre community.

Guest Parking

We have a drive to share or plenty of 9n road parking. We can also accommodate a bicycle.

The Area and Transport

This is a quiet residential area with 2 buses into town taking 15/20 mins depending on time day. Local shops and take aways are very close by. We have a drive and plenty on road parking. We are always keen to hear your stories or to leave you in peace. There are two local parks with Sports Hall and a large area known as Sandwell Valley to walk or cycle.

Bedroom is lockable. Own shower and kitchen facilities in room - toilet shared with one other and also spare toilet in cloakroom.

We keep our living room for family only but large kitchen /dining room (with access to garden) we welcome guest use by arrangement

I loved my stay with Judith and Colin - I had the attic room which was spacious, airy and very comfortable. If you want peace and quiet or fancy a chat these home away from home parents are very understanding to your needs. It can get toasty or cool in the room with two big windows and quick to heat radiators and the bed is great. If you have a car the distance to rep is 10 mins with free parking around. I am actively looking for more work in Brum so I can stay here again! 10/10
