What does this mean?

The Garden Room is a comfortable, private space, located at the end of our Garden. Access is via the side gate of the house, so you can remain self contained if you wish - although you're more than welcome to use the house for access to the washing machine and additional kitchen space, should you need!

The room has a king-sized bed, desk area, small kitchenette (equipped with a microwave, air fryer, induction hobs, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and all essential items), and a small ensuite shower room. It is very comfortable and the heater keeps it toasty warm in the winter.

We have a small private drive that you can park on.

The Area and Transport

A comfy, private garden studio located in Farncombe. Farncombe is a leafy, quiet suburb of Guildford, boasting a local Co-op supermarket, Boots, take aways and post office, alongside plenty of green space and beautiful walking routes. It is a 10 minute drive into the centre of Guildford, and has a local train train station with regular trains taking just 5 minutes to get into Guildford Station. The station is a 7 minute walk from the house. Godalming is a 15 minute walk away (3 minutes by car) and has an array of high street shops, a large Sainsburys and Waitrose.

Rachel and Patrick were lovely hosts. Even though I was not able to arrive at the property until after my gig had finished which was quite late that was not an issue and Rachel left me very clear information on how to get to the garden room.
The garden room itself was a lovely, quiet and relaxing space, just what I was after and I had a great nights sleep. I had a really nice chat with them the following day before taking up their recommendation on a great pub to have lunch before heading home.

I really enjoyed staying in Rachel’s garden room. It was clean and tidy and had everything I needed for self contained digs. Rachel and her husband were friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay with them again.

Ok, so I cannot fault this accommodation! Rachel and Patrick were excellent, warm and friendly hosts. 'The Garden Room' ticked all my boxes! Clean, warm, great shower, spacious, fast wifi and quiet. The bonus was having an electric hob, air fryer and fridge/freezer! Off street parking, 11 min drive to YA Theatre. Rachel also told me about a car park that was close to the theatre, but a fraction of the cost of the others.
All this added to a truly relaxing week. Highly recommended.

A lovely garden room, very clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. It’s just a 20-minute bike ride to the theatre or 20 minutes by train. We would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely lovely digs, driveway parking, separate access, great amenities and the lovely wey canal a 5 minute walk away - hope I get to stay again in the future!

Had a lovely stay in Rachel’s garden room — such a peaceful space. The kitchenette was brilliantly equipped and I made full use of it! Rachel was really welcoming and kind, and I’d happily stay again if I’m back in the Guildford area.
