Bright Double Room (Sutton Coldfield)

Situated in Sutton Coldfield, we offer a bright, airy double room with shared bathroom (bath and walk in shower) in a large Victorian end terrace. You will have use of the large kitchen, lounge with TV, library room, and garden. You will be able to make use of the washing machine and drying facilities. Towels are provided and you can help yourself to tea and coffee.

We are 5 minutes’ walk from Sutton Coldfield station which gets you into Birmingham in less than 20 minutes (The Alexandra, Hippodrome, and The Rep are 5 minutes’ walk from the station and a return ticket costs approx. £5), and Lichfield in 15 minutes (The Garrick is 5 minutes’ walk from Lichfield City station and a return ticket costs approx. £6). The last trains back to Sutton are around 11.30pm. We are less than 5 minutes’ walk from Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.

Sutton Coldfield town centre is 5 minutes’ walk from the house, which offers high-street stores, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Next to the station is our local pub and there is a very good curry house 30 seconds round the corner!

A minutes’ walk around the corner leads you to Sutton Park, one of the largest urban parks in Europe! This is a beautiful area comprising woodland, lakes, and heathland, and is a joy to walk around and get away from urban stress.

We do have a friendly and affectionate dog, Izzie. She may bark when you come to the door, but she is simply letting us know you’ve arrived. The only risks she poses are demands for attention and a few stray hairs.

There is no smoking in the house, but you are welcome to smoke in the garden.

We aim to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible, and are as happy giving you your own space or cracking open a bottle of wine and having a chat.
