Living with Host
We have enjoyed hosting theatre professionals for over 6 years now. We are friendly and welcoming but the house is large enough to feel like you have your own space.
The guest room is at the back of the house upstairs overlooking the garden and adjacent to a guest bathroom with shower toilet and basin. Guests are welcome to cook, and spend time in the garden.
The room has a double bed with clean white sheets and towels
Guest Parking
Parking is free street parking and you will find somewhere near to the house.
The Area and Transport
The vibrant Gloucester Rd is on our doorstep, full of coffee shops, eateries, 2nd hand shops and supermarkets.
Frequent and reliable buses take you close to Bristol Hippodrome and The old Vic theatre. Both are within walking distance for keen walkers or a short 5 mins Uber ride.

The guest bedroom is at the back of the house upstairs and is adjacent to the upstairs guest bathroom with shower toilet and basin.
All facilities in the kitchen are available for guests to use including washing machine. There is fridge space and cupboard space. Guests are welcome to cook meals in kitchen.

I had a lovely stay with Juliette and Vince for my time in Bristol! I stayed for 12 weeks and they were friendly and accommodating throughout my entire stay and made me feel very comfortable and at home. The house is lovely and having a separate bathroom right next to the room made it so easy and I felt like I really had my own space. So easy to get to the theatre via a short bus or a nice walk. Would definitely stay again if I found myself back in Bristol!

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay where you feel comfortable & that feels like home away from home, then look no further! Juliette and Vince were such amazing digs hosts. The perfect balance between friendly and leaving you to it. Great communication, great recommendations on the local area and just lovely people. The Gloucester Road is so close and perfect for all amenities and great local transport options. Thank you so much for having me & making my time in Bristol so enjoyable!

Had a lovely 2 week stay with Juliette and Vince. Lovely house, comfy room in a chilled and quiet area. About 7 min walk to bus stop for buses into Bristol city centre. Would definitely stay again!

A short stay with Juliette as I was at a hotel for part of the week, but a very easy, calm few days in a wonderful city. Juliette was lovely and very helpful!

Juliette & Vince were super accomadating & made me feel very welcomed in to their home for the 5 weeks I stayed here. They were both really friendly & communicated everything with me to do with my stay, including if they were going away for a night etc. I found my feet very quickly with their help & felt like the place was my own with how they treated me & with their welcome email upon arriving in to Bristol. I will definitely chose to stay here again if I find myself in Bristol!

A great room and private bathroom with an excellent shower. clean kitchen and drinks making facilities. Excellent friendly hosts and easy communication. With a good pace it’s a pleasant 35 min walk to the B Hip through the inner city towns, but plenty of busses if you want a quicker route. Highly recommended for shorter stays. Thanks Juliette x

I had a very nice relaxing stay Juliette and Vince are very friendly hosts who host a lovely house in an area well served by buses in to Bristol city centre the main road Gloucester is choc full of independent shops especially green grocers and cafe

Juliette is a lovely host, the room is really comfortable and clean. Bathroom was right by the room, which was really convenient. And the coffee was delicious :) I'd definitely book again.

Lovely room with own bathroom! I found the buses down the end of the road a little unreliable so it’s worth walking further to more bus options. Can’t fault the place, great digs!

Juliette is an excellent host.
The room is indeed bright, overlooking a pleasant back garden
The bathroom, next to bedroom, and Kitchen are fantastic.
5 minute walk to bus stop - easily getting into (and back from) The Hippodrome.

A lovely decorated room and an easy 15 minute bus ride to the Hippodrome with regular buses at night. Juliette and Vince were very accommodating and friendly hosts and I will definitely will stay there again if I come back to Bristol.

Juliette was a wonderful host. Very respectful of allowing me space to relax in and a really lovely, light and comfortable room. The WiFi didn’t quite reach into the room, this might have just been a temporary issue, but didn’t bother my short stay.

Had the best stay at Juliettes! Beautiful home and relaxed environment, super clean with white fluffy towels & bedding! Just an easy bus journey into the city for the Hippodrome. Would definitely stay here again when I’m in Bristol.

I stayed here for 20 weeks and I had the nicest time. Such a cosy bedroom and perfect having a bathroom right next to the bedroom. Lots of buses to the Hippodrome and it's also walkable. I would definitely stay here again.
