Living with Host

What does this mean?

The double room is bigger so has floor space to relax or do yoga with a pleasant view onto the back garden. The single room is very snug but guests have said it's fine even for longer stays. Both rooms are quite quiet as they are on the back of the house and have shared access to the upstairs bathroom / shower room.

Guest Parking

Parking is on street parking, no restrictions. Whilst it is a busy road, I can always find a space, either outside the house or down the road slightly on the corner with Hamilton Road, so, just 50m away from the house. The streets are well lit and it's a friendly neighbourhood so it feels safe to come home at any time of the evening.

The Area and Transport

My home is in Bearwood, a leafy suburb of Birmingham, 4 miles from the city centre, so it's 3.5 miles from the Rep Theatre and 5 miles from the Hippodrome. I live near two huge parks, Warley Woods (100 Acres) and Lightwoods Park and have easy transport links to the city centre on various bus routes. Look up Transport for West Midlands for journey planning. It's a friendly area of Victorian Terraced streets, lots of creatives live in this area and we have a few good cafes on the high street.

Melissa was so welcoming when I first got in! The home is about 15 minutes from town centre so really easy to get too! Overall really lovely,clean and friendly dig :)

Melissa was a great host. Very warm, friendly & welcoming. Good safe haven for working in a hectic Christmas show at Birmingham Rep. Bus stop to centre close by and more buses a short walk on Hagley road. Room was a good size, warm and cosy. Good shower. Would definitely recommend.
