Living with Host
The double room is large and bright with more than ample storage (including hanging storage and drawers).
Of course, you'd have full access to the communal spaces and areas. Guests can make use of the well equipped kitchen and enjoy relaxing in the living room, where the smart TV has all the good streaming options. There's a piano in the dining room and an acoustic guitar you'd be more than welcome to make use of. The bathroom is shared with the hosts, but there's storage for guests. There's a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and all the amenities you'd expect. Outside, there's a maintained yard with plants and herbs.
Colin and I are busy people who can understand when people want to engage and when people need space. I work in the office in town most days, and Colin is often on tour/working away so guests will often have the full run of the house during the day (albeit you will be accompanied by the world's most chilled out house cats, Winnie and Binx).

The Area and Transport
Well-connected area of south Liverpool served by frequent bus routes including the 86, with stops within a 5 minute walk from the house, giving direct access into Liverpool city centre ([REMOVED] the Playhouse/Empire/Empire) in approximately 15–25 minutes depending on traffic. Or you could walk to the same 3 theatres in around 30-40 minutes. The bus runs 24 hours, or an Uber from town might run to about £8 before surges etc.
ASDA and ALDI are a 5 minute walk away, and Sefton Park/Lark Lane can be reached in 20-25 minutes by foot and is a very short run or drive.

The bedroom will be yours during the time that you are staying and there is one bathroom which is shared. There are separate living and dining rooms. We'd hope you'd feel welcome and it would be great to get to know you over food or a glass of wine, but equally we appreciate and understand the importance of being able to able to enjoy your own space.
We have 2 cats: its fair to say that the cats are well behaved, they aren't interested in 'human' food for example. We don't let them in the bedrooms, and they don't really go into the kitchen other than to give your legs a nudge for some attention if they feel that way inclined.

No pets unfortunately. Smokers/vapers welcome to partake outside only using ashtray provided. Ground floor windows open closed when out and at night. The cats are indoor cats, so don't leave external doors open. Lamps around the house come on on timers, or can be turned on via Google Homes around the house. There's lots of old furniture, so there's plenty of coasters dotted about which we'd be grateful if you could use. Any questions give us a shout!
