Living with Host
A large, bright double room with private bathroom in a large flat with full access to kitchen and living areas. You will be sharing with myself, my wife Jennifer and our house cat, Sasha. We are both musicians so understand your need for privacy and a comfortable housing to return to after a performance.
We are across the road from the Theatre Royal; 15 minute walk from the King's Theatre; 5 minute walk from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Pavilion Theatre and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The SSE Hydro is short taxi or train ride away and City Halls is a 20 minute walk away in Merchant City.
The shared kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, large selection of crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery. We also have a Nespresso machine. Wifi runs throughout the apartment. You are welcome to sing and practice in the flat.
Guest Parking
No parking available but paid parking is available in NCP car parks nearby. Please be aware that from 1st June 2023, Glasgow is subject to a Low Emission Zone. This will mostly affect older diesel cars but eligibility can be checked online.
The Area and Transport
You can pretty much walk anywhere within the city from our location. It is a 10 minute walk to either Glasgow Queen Street (trains to Edinburgh and more of Scotland), or Glasgow Central where you can get the West Coast mainline to London Euston, Birmingham and Manchester etc. Parking is limited in the city centre but there are NCP car parks located nearby.
