About these Digs

Living with Host

What does this mean?

A bright, peaceful and cosy room on the second floor of our spacious home. The room has recently been decorated and is close to a separate toilet. The main bathroom, with a shower, is located on the 1st floor of our home.

Guest Parking

Occasionally we will be able to offer off-street parking. There are parking spaces available on the street at no cost. The street can be busy at times as we are close to the university, but it’s generally easy to get a space outside of working hours & at weekends.

The Area and Transport

We are centrally located on a quiet, leafy street. We are just around the corner from the Ecclesall Road shopping area, where you’ll find shops restaurants & bars (including M&S Food and a Tesco). We are close to the Botanical Gardens and other areas of natural beauty.

Our home is a 20 minute walk to Sheffield’s theatres in the centre of town. If you don’t want to walk, there are frequent buses from Ecclesall Road nearby. Ubers are plentiful & fairly cheap!

I absolutely loved staying here with Michael & Mark! They were lovely hosts :)
It was also lovely to meet Tia and Teddy!

The room was great; airy, quiet and spacious to put suitcases etc. Shower was down a level, but essentially had my own lavatory on the same floor as the room.

Kitchen area was lovely to chill in after shows and cook, and had great company of Teddy 🐶
Was also a decent walk through the town to the theatre!

Would gladly stay here again! Thank you!

I felt welcomed by Michael, Mark, Tia, and Teddy (the sweetest little dog) from the moment I arrived.
