Living with Host
Lovely quiet and cosy double room, great location and friendly host.
The house is relaxed and peaceful with a sunny walled garden. The bedroom is quiet, clean, and light and looks out to trees and the garden.
There is a friendly dog, Stan who lives here part time.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. There is WIFI, bedding and towels. You have use of the kitchen as well as dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. It's a non-smoking house.
The house is located just off North Street with its street art, bars, cafes a public swimming pool, and gyms and close to the docks and trendy Wapping Wharf’s independent shops & eateries.
The Tobacco Factory Theatre is a 5-minute walk, and it’s a 33 minute walk into the centre of town to the Hippodrome and the Bristol Old Vic, plus very good transport links, with Bristol Airport and Temple Meads station close by.

If you have a car, parking permits are £3 a day. Free parking outside the zone.

Cannot fault my stay with penny! A truly wonderful lady who made me feel so welcome and at home!! A great location in Bristol and a gorgeous comfy stay!!

Penny is such a gem. Had a wonderful time staying here. A nice quick easy walk to the theatre. She so accommodating and kind. Will definitely be back. Oh and you'll love Stan! Thanks for everything Penny x

Great to stay at Pennys again! Comfy room and large bathroom. An easy walk into the Bristol Hippodrome via wapping wharf.

Penny is such a lovely host who made sure to make me feel welcome from the get go and that I had everything I need - down to offering me fresh baked bread one morning! I enjoyed our chats and evening hang outs when still in rehearsals. It's a gorgeous walk to BOV but also has great bus links too for rainier days. If you're a dog person, you'll love Stan - a lovely old boy who'll be sure to seek you out for morning cuddles once he's got to know you. Thanks for making a real home from home Penny!

Penny and her wonderful home has been the best accommodation I've stayed in. Bedroom was super clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Great location for the city centre and a 10 second walk to the local high street! I stayed for 12 weeks and Penny was the most humble host and made sure I had everything I needed while respecting my personal space and down time.
I would defiantly love to stay again!

Our Stage Manager Fergus had a lovely stay, thank you so much for making him feel welcome Penny. The location was fantastic for Tobacco Factory Theatres and was close to amenities and a short taxi ride from the station. Penny was also very understanding when I got my dates mixed up - thank you!

Ali, our lighting designer, loved her stay and particularly commented on how lovely the bathroom and kitchen are. Penny was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent for commuting to the centre of Bristol (Broadmead) for rehearsals.

Absolute rock star of a person. Property is clean, spacious and well looked after.
Penny is warm, inviting and really relaxed. It was lovely to have had the chance to stay with Penny and would recommend her digs to anyone.

Great place, a lovely host. The only issue is that one of the bridges is closed, which adds about 30-45mins to a journey when walking.

Our stage manager Fergus really enjoyed his stay here - he said it was a nice house and Penny was very friendly and accomodating. The bed was also super comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. Thanks Penny!

Had a great stay at Penny's. The room is big & peaceful, overlooking the garden & the house is lovely in a great area. Penny was away & arranged for me to collect the keys from her neighbour. I definitely recommend if working in Bristol :)

I had a great time staying with Penny.Great location and I was able to come and go as I pleased and felt very welcome. Lovely garden, good facilities and overall a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back if I was working in the area again :)
