Living with Host

What does this mean?

Lovely bright, cosy bedroom with comfy double bed in 2 bed mid terrace house. Shared access to downstairs bathroom, living/dining room, kitchen and patio garden. Walking distance to theatres, near to convenience shops but on a residential street. The house is surprising quiet at night.

I occupy the second bedroom, so you will be the only paying guest.

Both bedrooms are on the first floor. Downstairs, there's a shared large living/dining room, kitchen and full bathroom.

Full, shared kitchen access including allocated space in fridge. Washing machine may be used - laundry capsules provided.

I also have a lovely east facing patio garden which you're welcome to use for a morning cup of tea.

Please note that I have a small, Miniature Labradoodle. She is very friendly and will not be in your room, but the room is probably not suitable for those with a dislike or fear of dogs, as she has free access to the rest of the house.

Guest Parking

Portsmouth is split into parking zones. There is on street parking on the residential streets around my house; it's restricted to permit holders between 4:30pm and 6:30pm (Mon-Sun) - I can get you a visitor permit for £2 per day.

The Area and Transport

Central Southsea location - less than a 2 min walk to Albert Road, full of coffee shops, shops and pubs.

Kings Theatre - 6 min walk
New Theatre Royal - 23 min walk
Guildhall - 24 min walk

Southsea Common - 17 min walk
Seafront - 15/20 min walk
Train station - 17 min walk

Main buses run nearby and the train stations and hover/ferry terminals are within walking distance.
