Large double bedroom in Edwardian house within easy walking distance of the Hippodrome and Bristol Old Vic. You will have your own private bathroom and sole use of a lounge and kitchen, all on the same floor.

Lovely central area of Bristol, very close to the Hippodrome and the Old Vic. 10 / 15 mins walk respectively.
Large double bedroom at the top the house with access to a lounge, kitchen and private bathroom, all on the same floor. I live on the floor below and have my own facilities.
The house is right next to Brandon Hill - a lovely nature park with fantastic views of Bristol. Good variety of shops on the doorstep including cafes, pubs, restaurants. Also close to Bristol City `museum and the Royal West Academy. Clifton village with it's shops and cafes and Clifton suspension bridge is a 25 minute walk.
In spite of being so central, the house, and neighbouring streets are very quiet.
I have a large dog called Aurthur, who is very friendly.
The house is close to bus routes for the train station and most sites.
As the accommodation is on the top floor of the house, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible

The bedroom has a lockable door. The host has their own facilities on the lower floors.
The top floor has two bedrooms. It is possible the hosts family/friends may use the second bedroom and the bathroom for 1 or 2 nights during a guest's stay

Marian is a wonderful host and her home is perfect! Such a wonderful space, so close to the Hippodrome (and the Old Vic) Having your own bathroom and kitchen is a huge bonus, if this place is available when you're in Bristol don't hesitate to book it!

A really comfortable and welcoming stay in Bristol. The room was clean and quiet, with the private bathroom, separate kitchen and living room giving me plenty of space to work and rest. The location was ideal too — a short walk to lovely natural trails, viewpoints, cafés and places to eat. The host was warm, kind and accommodating. I loved my stay and would happily return on future visits to Bristol.

Charlotte House was the perfect place for my 11-week stay in Bristol. The house was beautiful, with stunning views, an excellent location near the theatre and all amenities, and was equipped with everything I could possibly need during my stay. Marian was wonderful — warm, helpful, and very welcoming throughout - as was Arthur the dog! I would happily stay again.

Had a really lovely stay with Marian, she and Arthur were very friendly and welcoming, the house is beautiful, and the bathroom and kitchen have everything you could need, it's an easy walk to both the Old Vic and the Hippodrome, would highly recommend staying here, I've already booked to come back on my next job!

What a great place! Marian is lovely and friendly and welcoming. As I arrived at her proper nice house, I was greeted by the ladies of her bridge club who were leaving, and her big, cuddly dog, Arthur, who definitely was not. (You will likely be offered a shoe). You’ll be on the top floor, which has the choice of 2 very nice rooms, bathroom, kitchen and a little living room. It’s also a short walk to everything that’s useful, and buses are easy to places that aren’t. I strongly recommend!

Had a lovely time with Marion, and Arthur the dog who is very friendly.....spacious clean room, own amazing kitchen, and 15min walk to theatre.... defo stay here again !!!

I had a lovely time staying with Marian and I was sad not to be at this location for a little longer. I felt very safe here, it’s close to amenities, and calm and quiet. It was so nice having my own space to retreat to on the top floor- where I had everything I could possibly need and then some. Marian was so welcoming and kind and I enjoyed getting to know her a little. Also, as a dog lover it was an added bonus having Arthur the golden doodle there too. I’d recommend and would stay here again.

Amazing digs! Marian is so lovely and helpful. The digs have everything you need and more. Comfy bed and lots of storage. Well equipped kitchen. 7 minute walk to the theatre with lots of shops and food places nearby. Arthur the dog is so sweet as well! Would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in Bristol. Thank you!

Wonderful stay! Perfect location – 6 minutes to the Bristol Hippodrome and next to beautiful Brandon Hill. The house is cosy, spotless, and well organised, with great city views and complete privacy. Marian is a kind, helpful host, and her dog Arthur is an adorable, well-behaved companion. One of the best digs I’ve stayed in – I’m leaving with great memories and would happily return. Highly recommended!
