The room

The room is newly decorated and has a king-size bed, triple wardrobe, chest of drawers (with 6 draws) and 2 bedside tables with draw space. Also within the room is a dressing table which can be used as a desk, and a TV with access to Sky, including sports, Netflix.

All bedroom furniture, bed and mattress were newly purchased in December 2023.

Local area & transport

Quick and easy access into Central Birmingham. The house is close to Bournville train station, with cheap and regular trains taking you directly into Birmingham City Centre (approx. 12-minute train journey to New Street Station).
There is also a bus stop 1-minute walk away, with regular buses to and from the City Centre and Midlands Arts Centre.

Free on-street parking is available, which is situated outside the Birmingham clean air charge zone.

The property is situated just off Stirchley High Street. Stirchley is a fun and vibrant area with many great independent restaurants, bars/micro-breweries, cafés and access to supermarkets. There are also several lovely green spaces, parks and the canal nearby for walks, relaxation or exercise.

The rest of the house

Use of a good-sized kitchen with cupboard space, Fridge/freezer space, a Nespresso coffee machine and tea-making facilities, electric oven, microwave, washing machine etc.

Large, clean, modern shared bathroom with bath and over-bath shower (this is situated on the floor below the room).

Guests are more than welcome to use the lounge along with the TV, which also has Sky, including sports and Netflix.

Small Patio garden with table and chairs.

High-speed broadband throughout. The house is double glazed and any bills are included.

LGBTQ+ friendly.
No smoking indoors please, however, smokers are more than welcome to use the garden.
The house is unsuitable for pets.

Hi I’m Ryan, I have worked in the Arts now for around 15 years, looking to use my spare room to provide digs/accommodation. Only 1 room is made available for let, so you would just be sharing the house with me. I use a local co-working space 3 days a week, and work in my room the other 2 days. So you would usually have the run of the house during the day.
