Double bedroom in a spacious house in the heart of Shoreditch/Bricklane, with garden access and full use of kitchen and living areas. Loads of transport options and walking distance to all the Shoreditch fun.
*** THE ROOM ***
The room is located in our lovely house, tucked away in a quiet area, minutes from Brick Lane.
The room has a double bed EU size (140 cm wide) with a brand-new mattress. The bed is a wall bed, meaning you can lift it up to enjoy more space in the room.
The room currently has a tall chest of drawers and a clothes rack with hangers.
We've recently added a desk with a stool (not shown in the pictures).
The room is on the second floor of the house and for that reason, it might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Guest Parking
There isn't any parking option directly attached to the house. Though we can facilitate a daily resident permit with the council that allows you to park in the street (for a small daily fee).
The Area and Transport
The house is very close to Brick Lane, known for its vintage shops, Sunday market and late night salt beef bagels! It's about 2 minutes walk away but the house is tucked away in a very quiet residential area.
The house is 7 min away from Shoreditch High Street station. And 2 min away from a set of buses that can take you to Liverpool Street, Stratford or Central London. It's about 4 minutes away from Rich Mix.

*** BATHROOM ***
You will share a bathroom with Clemence only (Ed has a second one downstairs). She usually has a flexible schedule, so you can have priority!
*** THE REST OF THE HOUSE ***
Ed and Clem usually work from home in their own offices. The offices are on a different floor, so you won't be disturbed if you need to sleep late and recover from a late show.
For any person at risk of cat allergies, the house comes with a lovely cat called Donnie (short for Donald). He is a bit scared of people and might not let you approach him. He tends to hide in his tunnel and attend important cat business outside at night.
The house has an open-plan kitchen /livingroom, which you are very welcome to use. It also has a garden, which is lovely during the summer.
Excluded Facilities
Our offices / studios located on the first floor are not accessible to the Guest. Though, feel free to knock on the door if you need anything.

- We don't usually allow external friends to come and visit, but this can be arranged if you let us know in advance.

Clemence and Ed were both so welcoming, the room was perfect for what I needed it for, and the rest of the house was very clean too. As I mentioned to Ed, the only thing I would improve in the room would be a waste bin. I would happily stay here again if I'm that area, thank you! :D

Ed and Clem were lovely and really helpful. Private room at the top of the house was clean and warm. In the heart of shorditch very well placed for me,

Really enjoyed my stay. Clem and Ed were very helpful and relaxed, giving me my space but happy to chat and have a laugh. It’s a great location near Brick Lane (which I loved) but the street is relatively quiet and has a lovely communal garden.

Clem, Ed, and Donnie were brilliant hosts, making me feel really welcome. They were very friendly and gave me some great suggestions of nearby food places. Would definitely stay again.

It was such a pleasure staying with Ed, Clem and Donnie (their lovely cat). Really nice room that has everything you need and the location is amazing, just off of brick lane and great links to central London! Had my own space but they were always around for any problems or a lovely chat. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I’m ever in the area (even just to see Donnie!). Thanks so much :)

One of my favourite places I've stayed on Theatre Digs. The room is nice and comfy, the place is full of character (to my tastes in particular) and the location is exceptional. Being pretty much right on Brick Lane means there are so many great things just a stone's throw away. But more than anything I really got on well with the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming people, but also really fascinating and great to talk to. It might take me a few more visits to win over Donnie the cat though...

This is the most ideal spot I think you could find- very comfortable room with bathroom right next door, great natural light, kind hosts, and the location is perfect for those who want to be near coffee shops and fun things to do. Brick Lane is a must see in London -living near it is so special! It was also impressively quiet in the room, and again Clem & Ed are happy to help with anything you need. Highly recommend
