What does this mean?

En-suite boutique double bedroom in Victorian period terraced house in highly rated, safe and friendly Pontcanna area. 5 star rating on Airbnb. From the doorstep there are so many options within just a few minutes walk for bars, shops, restaurants, cafes (2 to 7 minutes and easy walking distance into city centre (15 to 20 mins). Most theatres are within 1.5 miles and do easily walkable. For some relaxing downtime Sophia Gardens, Bute Park, the River Taff are within 5 minutes and are a great option to use as a pleasant route on your way to Cardiff Castle and the city centre.

The Area and Transport

Boutique double bedroom with a private en-suite shower/toilet in a Victorian period property located in the highly rated Pontcanna area which has many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes all within 2 to 7 minutes walk from the house. Cardiff Central Station is just over 20 minutes walk away, as is the city centre.The coach station a 3 minutes walk away. Buses run into town and are located a minute away. The River Taff is 5 minutes walk away and is a lovely cut through on the way into the city. The Royal College of Music, Chapter Arts Centre, The Gate, Caird and Sherman theatres are all 1.5 miles or less away. The Wales Millennium Centre is 2.4 miles away.

The rate is for the room only and is not offered with breakfast however I do offer tea/coffee and very nice toast/marmalade between 8am and 10am.

I have a very friendly young dog who is big and bouncy and will want to say hello! There may be other guests or friends staying at the time of your stay.

It's a nice peaceful area so if you're in a jolly mood please be discreet when entering the property

Please only place toilet paper in the toilet - any other waste items can be placed in the bin provided..

Sufia was a wonderful host, she made me feel so at home and was super accommodating and friendly.
This is one of the most beautiful houses I’ve ever stayed in. The room is so lovely with a gorgeous comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom.
I had an amazing stay here and was only a 20 min approx walk into town/new theatre.
Would highly recommend for your Cardiff stay!
