Stranmillis is renowned for its leafy avenues, beautiful parks, and a lively atmosphere, largely thanks to its proximity to Queen's University Belfast. It's nestled along the picturesque River Lagan, offering lovely riverside walks. You'll find a relaxed, friendly vibe here, with a good selection of independent cafes, restaurants, and local shops.
Getting Around: Public Transport
Getting into Belfast city centre and beyond from Danesfort Park is very convenient.
Nearest Bus Stop: The closest bus stop is Stranmillis (Broomhill Park), which is just a short 4-minute walk from the house. The Lyric Theatre is a 10 minute stroll. Grand Opera House is a 5 minute drive/ 25 minute walk. The MAC is a 35 minute walk.
