Self-Contained
A beautiful self contained Victorian coach house for one person at the bottom of our garden in Meersbrook, Sheffield. Private access into your own courtyard garden. Key safe. There is a good sitting out area with garden furniture. Ground floor - French windows lead into the kitchen/living area. The kitchen includes cooker, toaster, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
1st floor - bedroom and bathroom. Small double bed. (bedding and towels provided). Energy, hairdryer, tv and WIFI included.
The coach house is double glazed and quiet. There is plenty of on street parking, and it's only 10 minutes by bus to the theatres (2.1 miles).

Meersbrook is a good residential area, with shops and cafes. It’s 2 miles from the theatres with excellent public transport. Lovely park across the road.

I had a wonderful stay at Jane’s coach house during my week in Sheffield. Jane is a lovely, welcoming host. The coach house is exactly as described - clean, private, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s in a quiet, safe area with supermarkets, cafes, shops, gym etc just a 5 min walk away. It’s an easy 45 min walk into town, and buses/Ubers back to/from the theatres are simple, right from stage door. I’d happily stay again & highly recommend it! Thanks Jane 😊

Great value self-contained digs! Once you have a travelcard (can get from the bus station next to the theatre or order online) you can get a few options of buses which is really convenient. Communication was great and Jane was SO lovely! The area is fab - a 1:1 Pilates studio, a huge park, shops, cafes and pubs all in easy walking distance. It could do with a deep clean and de-cobweb but after giving it a once over I felt comfortable and wouldn't be put off staying again - overall a lovely stay!

I had a perfect stay in the coach house. The luxury of a self-contained property with everything you need plus a lovely little patio to sit out in the sun whilst having your breakfast! Friendly and helpful hosts and plenty of shops nearby. The theatre is quite a distance but there are frequent buses and it's not a bad walk if you feel energetic. Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous, private, self contained digs an easy bus ride away from the theatres. Lidl close by for food shopping and Jane is very helpful and friendly. I'll be back!

Excellent self contained digs that feel very private - you have your own gate at the side of the house, and I didn't even see anyone once! Great kitchen facilities with everything you could need. Lots of different buses you can get to the centre and the bus stop is only 5 mins from the house. Highly recommend staying here if you're happy with a slightly longer commute.

I can highly recommend this charming coach house. Jane & Tony are wonderful, friendly hosts who are always available should you need any help or advice. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop with plenty of buses to take you to the theatres. I had a wonderful stay there. If you are tall, watch your head upstairs in the bedroom and please take care of the entrance at the top through the garden as the steps can be tricky especially in the winter when I was there.

These digs are perfect: clean, comfy, quiet and private with all the facilities you'd hope for. But what makes this place extra special is the hosts. Jane was very generous and kind to me. You can't buy hospitality like that. Highly recommended

What a delightful little home from home. Everything you could want from a theatre digs and more. There are various buses which are really reliable so don't let the distance disuade you from booking. I wish it had been warmer as I would've liked to sit in the sweet patio area that Jane has set up for our use...but what do you expect in January! A lovely peaceful relaxing stay. Thank you

Wow, wonderful digs! Private, comfortable and clean. It’s a 25 minute walk from the theatre, but in no way taxing. Loved my week there, Jane and Tony are lovely. Definitely the place to book in Sheffield.

Lovely, quiet self contained digs with comfy bed. About 35 minutes walk to Lyceum, Uber back was only around £5/£6. Bonus greetings from the very pretty and friendly Velvet the cat!

Wonderful place to live while working, felt like home as soon as I arrived! The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and made everything so easy. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone working at the Sheffield theatres!

I had a lovely stay, Jane was so welcoming and I had total privacy, with my own separate access to the house, which had everything I needed. The theatre just a short drive away who also offer a deal with Q-park on Charles street for only £6 per day!

I had such a lovely stay in the coachouse very cosy and clean. Jane and her husband were there if I needed anything.
It was fully equipped and they even left me some biscuits :)

Jane and Tony were most welcoming. The Coach House was ideal, very comfortable with all facilities at hand, travel to the theatre was easy, 10 minutes on the bus and frequent. When next in Sheffield I would love to stay again. Highly recommended.

A perfect place to stay whilst away. Really lovely little space with everything one could have needed. I also had a fantastic welcome which is always nice after a long drive.

I really enjoyed my stay . It’s clean, spacious but cosy too. Very private with everything you need. A short drive to Lyceum/Crucible but it is also walkable & plenty of buses. Supermarket very near too. I’d definitely return & highly recommend.
