What does this mean?

The studio room is a cozy and comfortable living space perfect for lodgers looking for a temporary home. The room is fully furnished with a comfortable double bed, clothes hanging space, desk, sofa, coffee table, wifi and smart TV. The room is warmly decorated creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

The studio is located on the side of the main house. Accessed from the garden, without having to come through the main house and with its own key. It has a high ceiling and large windows that let in plenty of natural light, providing a bright and airy feel. The windows also offer a view of the garden. The room is equipped with fan and electric heating, ensuring comfort no matter the weather.

The studio room has a private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The bathroom is clean and well-maintained, providing a hygienic space to freshen up.

It has a microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, 1-ring electric hob and kettle. This allows you to prepare simple meals and snacks in the comfort of your own room. It is equipped with basic utensils and dishes, making it easy for simple cooking and eating.

Sadly there isn’t a washing machine in the studio. Previous guests have used a local service called Laundry Heap, who collect and return washing, if they need. Otherwise there is access to a washing machine in the main house with prior notice.

It also houses a small old piano and running machine, which you are welcome to use if you run or play.

The studio is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, providing lodgers with a peaceful and secure environment. It is conveniently located near shops, cafes, public transport (5 mins) and is within easy walking distance to the theatres (15mins max) and the city centre, making it easy to explore and get around. There is ample car parking immediately outside.

We also have a small scruffy dog, which I like to mention as you may hear and encounter her in the garden, she’s very friendly, but not everyone likes dogs…

If that suits you, I ask for a deposit on booking and charge £280 per week. Rental can be paid in full on arrival or at the beginning of each week by BACS or cash, whichever you prefer.

I loved my stay here! The place was really clean and well decorated. Lovely shower and great facilities, a very comfortable and pleasant space. Situated in a residential area which was nice and quiet even if it was an uphill walk from the theatre. Sarah was an excellent host who was good at communicating and made me feel very welcome while also giving me space and privacy. Would love to stay here again next time I’m in Nottingham!
