Living with Host

What does this mean?

Two light, fresh double rooms with TV, WiFi and hairdryer (no smoking), in a friendly owner’s home, situated in a quiet west-end Victorian tenement flat with free use of bathroom and kitchen. Laundry facilities are available and all linen and towels are supplied.

No shoe household.

I have been renting rooms for 20 years and have become very popular and sought after, with frequent returns and referrals.

About Annie Tulloch

I am very sociable and in my 70s, having retired from 46 years of nursing. I lead a very active life involving myself with family and friends, walking, travelling, film classes and enjoying as much as I can of the performing arts. I get a special thrill seeing my clients on stage!

Guest Parking

There is no available parking at the property. There is however, on street meter parking or alternatively you can download an app called Just Park to find available cheaper parking.

The Area and Transport

Bus and train services within a five minute walk and a 30 minute walk will take you to the theatres in town. For excellent shopping Byres Road is under 10 minutes walk where there are also lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. For walkers and runners, the river is minutes away, leading to both Botanical and Kelvingrove parks.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Easily my favorite digs on this tour. Annie was an incredible host. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Location was top notch - so many different restaurants and cafes to try in addition to a Co-Op and Tesco nearby. An easy 30 minute walk from The King's Theatre. Would recommend anybody staying in Glasgow to book with Annie x

Annie is a very kind and welcoming host. The flat is in a beautiful part of Glasgow with lots of nice cafes etc to enjoy during the daytime. Room is spacious, clean and very comfortable and Annie was very relaxed about my use of the kitchen etc. I walked various routes in to town - along the river being very nice - but towards the end of the week I was preferring to walk to the nearby Subway for a cheap and quick train to/from Buchanan Street. Taxis later at night were around £8. Thanks Annie!
