About these Digs
Living with Host
Our House is in the beautiful private, old Victorian area known as The Park. One double room, with a large en-suite bathroom with a shower, is on ground floor and is very quiet and private as we live on the first and second floors. The room is spotless with wooden flooring throughout. There is a shared utility area where you can use the sink, microwave, kettle and toaster. Access to the back garden which you are welcome to use. We live (includes one small very friendly dog who is also hypoallergenic ) on the top two floors so you are mostly self contained and can come and go without any impact on us and vice versa. We often never see each other!
Facilities include: Wi-Fi, free off street parking, linen & towels provided, hairdryer and small fridge. Overnight guests allowed at £21 per night extra charge. Washing machine additional £5 per use

The Area and Transport
Very close to the main transport system and 15 mins walking into town and both Theaters through a lovely old leafy Victorian housing area.
The Theatre Royal is 0.9 mile - 5 mins in a car, 15 mins walking.
The Playhouse is 0.9 miles - 4 mins in a car and 13 mins to walk

A lovely set up with super comfy bed and own bathroom. The little utility area was all that I needed and very private. Easy walk into town but echo what others have said about the lighting on the estate being quite dim. I always walked back with a colleague staying nearby or got a taxi. Parking is only on the driveway due to estate rules. A couple of communication issues but nothing major and I’d happily return.

Lovely digs and hosts, basically self contained. 20mins walk to the theatre. As it’s very dark around the park estate area due to the old lights I got an Uber back every night and this was cheap, easy and quick. Would definitely book again

Perfect digs for Nottingham in an ideal location for an easy walk to the theatre, the room is beautifully kept and I would recommend to anyone touring into Nottingham.

A lovely ensuite room with a very comfortable bed. Sadly I only managed to bump into Sam a couple of times but she was very warm and welcoming and communication was excellent. A great location - an easy 15min walk and very quiet. Would highly recommend

Gorgeous room, brilliant shower & ensuite bathroom. Sam is a delight, the house is a lovely short 20 min walk to the theatre royal. These digs are in the Park, a lovely area of Nottingham near the castle.

This is the perfect place. The closest thing you’ll find to self contained without paying those high premiums. Spotlessly clean… beautiful room and en-suite and use of utility with sink, kettle toaster and microwave.
Communication was brilliant throughout.
It’s in a gorgeous, safe area, it took me 20 minutes to walk in.
Don’t hesitate to book this place!

I had a wonderful stay! This was my first stop on tour and Sam made everything so easy and was super lovely, friendly and communication was great. I had everything I needed and the bed was so comfy. The walk to the theatre was really nice and ubers/taxis were cheap back in the evening

Lovely digs in a private and safe area. An easy 15/20 mins walk to the theatre or £4/£5 uber home at night. The room and en-suite was beautiful, clean and quiet, and felt private from the rest of the house. Mini fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle were ideal for breakfast and snacks. Would happily stay again, Sam was such a considerate host and the communication was excellent. Thank you for a really wonderful stay!

Can’t fault this place at all! Sam is a super friendly, experienced and thoughtful host. The room is really comfortable, and the en suite and amenities are spot on. Great value and a lovely spot to stay.
Just a heads-up: the street lighting around here is a bit dim, so I’d suggest guests, especially women, keep that in mind if walking back at night.

Great stay with Sam! So comfortable, with an en-suite and direct access to sink and microwave, plus the mini fridge which is a great addition! I also enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden. Scenic walk in, past lots of amenities and great cafes. As the location is in private residential housing estate it is quiet, and though a dark walk back past the historic gaslamps it is peaceful or a very quick, cheap taxi back. Would be very happy to stay again!

Sam’s place was perfect for my week in Nottingham.
The room is light and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The house is only a 15 minute walk from the theatre.
Sam is friendly and helpful whilst letting you use the room like it is yours.
Would highly recommend a stay here.

Had a lovely stay here with Sam whilst at the Theatre Royal. It was a 15 - 20 minute easy walk to the theatre. The room had an ensuite, and just outside was a sink, kettle, microwave and toaster, so was pretty self contained. One friendly dog too! Would certainly stay again, thanks!
