Living with Host

What does this mean?

You'll have a large bedroom with a double bed, seating area, dressing table, full-length mirror, plenty of storage and clothes hanging. There's very fast WiFi. Your room has a TV with FreeView, Apple TV and Google Chromecast. Also in the room is a Nespresso coffee maker, clothes airer, iron and ironing board. You have your own private en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, basin and toilet. You'll also have use of the kitchen, including fridge, microwave, washing machine, etc. It's a non-smoking home.

Your bedroom is upstairs, and downstairs there's the kitchen and utility room.

You'll be living with me (David), my partner Matthew (if he's not away on tour/doing a show), and our friendly dog, Gladys.

Guest Parking

There's plenty of free on-street parking at the house, and it's a quiet neighbourhood.

The Area and Transport

Milton Keynes theatre is two miles away, which is an five-minute drive, ten minutes on the buses (which run every 15 minutes), 15 minutes by bike/escooter (Lime/Dott/Uber/Santander rentals available), £6-£8 in a taxi/Uber, or a nice 40-minute walk. The Stables in Wavendon is also two miles away.

We're in a quiet neightbourhood of Milton Keynes, with parkland and lakes on the doorstep. There are some lovely pubs, a Co-op, a Waitrose, a Costa and a Harvester all within an easy walk (15 minutes or less).

My favourite digs on the tour so far. Lovely home and David amd Matthew and Gladys were very welcoming.
Very comfy bed in airy en suite room.
It is a short bus ride from thw theatre but you can walk or use local bikes or scooters.
Brilliant welcome pack with all you need to know about MK and getting around.
Would absolutely stay again if the situation arrises.
