Living with Host
The house is a big, semi-detached home with five bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are a maximum of 3 bedrooms available, one double with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. Also, there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom, and guests in these rooms share the big bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. It is in a safe area within walking distance of Leicester city centre, and with a number of eateries, bars and cafes nearby. Curve Theatre is a 40 minute walk, or there is a bus stop nearby which takes about 7 minutes. De Montford Hall is a 15 minute walk. Guests have full use of the kitchen when/if required, a dedicated fridge / freezer, and a dedicated cupboard space. The washing machine is shared and is the dishwasher. There is a landscape designed garden which guests are also welcome to use, with a number of pergolas with tables and chairs.
All bedding and towels are provided. Sheets and towels are changed each Saturday.

There is parking outside the garage at the front of the house, or on road by the school sign.
The Area and Transport
Stoneygate is approximately a 20 minute walk from Leicester train station and is often described as an urban village. Curve Theatre is about a 40 minute walk, or a bus ride of 7 minutes. The bus stop is just around the corner. De Montfort Hall is closer being a 15 minute walk away or 2 minute bus ride. There are a lot of local cafes and eateries nearby and a Co-op at the end of the road. It is a quiet area.

Shared and Excluded Facilities
This space is shared with 1 Host and 2 other paying Guests.
There are no locks on any doors. All guests have their own house key to come and go as they please. The kitchen and equipment is shared with the host and other guests (some limited crockery is not shared), but there is a dedicated fridge and cupboard for guest only use. The garden is open to guests should they wish to use it. The washing machine in the utilty room is shared.
Excluded Facilities
The host bedroom and ensuite is private and not available to guests.
The sitting room/dining is available through the day if the host is not using it.
There is a downstairs office next to the utility room (which houses the guest fridge and cupboards and washing machine) which is not available.

Other rules
Guests are kindly requested to remove outdoor shoes on arrival, but are welcome to wear indoor use shoes inside. There are two bins; one is recycling and one is general waste. Cooking times, if needed, are negotiated on arrival. Usually, we manage to work around one another without any challenges but it does depend on how busy the house is!

I had a wonderful stay with Sarah! A beautiful clean and cosy house in a really nice quiet neighbourhood. I had the single room with use of a private bathroom right next door to my room and the use of the kitchen was really helpful.
It is quite a walk but the buses were easy and the uber cost me £5 (or less)
Sarah is a lovely host and was very helpful - great communication!

Sarah is so lovely and has the most beautiful home. Sadly they are selling so I’m not sure if anyone will have the privilege of staying there. I didn’t want to leave!

A lovely quiet house in a beautiful area. Room had plenty of drawers and bedside lights and really appreciated so much cupboard and rfirdge space for storing food

I had a great 3 week stay here, Sarah is a really nice host! It was an easy journey to Curve by bike, 10 minutes with cycle lanes pretty much the whole way.

A very comfortable place to stay in a peaceful area. An easy walk to the theatre or there’s a bus stop down the road. Sarah was very welcoming and provided all the necessities.

I had a great stay here during my time working at The Curve. It was extremely comfortable, and my odd work hours at the theatre were never an issue. It was the perfect retreat from city life, while still being easy to get to Leicester centre.

Sarah was a wonderful host. The room was lovely, very comfortable. They didn’t mind me using the kitchen. I felt very at home. Two adorable cats. I stayed whilst working at the Curve over Christmas and her family were so welcoming and friendly. For those who don’t mind a walk, it is walking distance away so I mostly took the bus in which isn’t far. There’s also a very handy Co-op about 7 mins walk away. Would definitely go back and stay. Thanks for everything Sarah! X

Very nice, comfortable and quiet room in a lovely house. The Curve is a short drive or the regular bus services take 20 mins door to dooor.
Sarah & Adam were very welcoming as were their cats!

These were lovely digs to end the tour on. A beautiful house. A large double room with en suite shower room and walk in closet. Space to park on the drive. (It’s only 8 mins drive to the Curve Theatre.) A fridge to yourself in the kitchen. Two friendly cats and friendly host. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely room and en suite. A bus ride or drive in to centre but worth it. Cheap all day parking at Lee Circle NCP £3.45. Definitely stay again.

These are lovely digs. It’s a bit further out of the centre but that means it’s quiet at night, and only a few minutes walk from the bus stop (or a £5 Uber). The room is spacious, clean, welcoming and there are two very cute cats!

We had an overall very pleasant stay! The house is large with 3 rooms rented to actors. A 40 minute walk to Curve Theatre. Clean spacious bathroom shared only between guests. Cats are often around! It's definitely a 'living with the host' experience.

Sarah was a lovely host in an artful large home. The room was warm and comfortable. It is a bit of a trek but Uber is cheap or bus from down the road quite regular. Would return and recommend for sure.

Adam and Sarah were great hosts. Extremely welcoming and the house is immaculate! It's about a half hour walk to Curve, would definitely recommend getting a cab if coming back late at night though.

Just stayed in this beautiful house.
They are about a 25 minute walk into town, the room was really cosy and clean and I felt like I had my own space with the lovely en suite bathroom.
Sarah and Adam were very welcoming and accommodating.
I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone thinking of staying.

Beautiful house in a lovely part of Leicester.
About a 20 minute walk to the concert hall which is lovely during the day but quite dark at night.
The Wi-Fi in the bedroom is pretty weak but would definitely stay again
