Beautiful Georgian House Close to Hall For Cornwall and Burrell Theatre (Truro)

Poltisco House sleeps a maximum of 10 people, with 5 bedrooms arranged over 2 floors. There is: one single room, two standard twin rooms, a twin room which can convert to a double (with room for a fold out bed or a cot) and a triple room. Rooms are let on an individual basis but only to theatre staff/teams.
On the ground floor is the lounge, the kitchen/diner and the laundry room and one of the twin rooms. The kitchen is available for light self-catering only. The bathroom facilities are all shared and comprise of 2 toilets and 3 showers.

Guest Parking

There is very limited parking at the property, however a permit can be provided in order to park for free nearby.

The Area and Transport

Poltisco House is a beautiful Georgian house, situated off Malpas Road in Truro within a 7 minute walk of the city centre, the Hall For Cornwall, Burrell Theatre,Truro Cathedral and numerous pubs and restaurants. The river and Boscawen Park are also a stones throw away from the property.

This space is shared with 2 other permanent tenants.

Please note that this property is "family style living" with shared kitchen, lounge, laundry, toilet and shower facilities. Rooms do not have lockable doors.
There are permanent residents who live in ground floor properties adjoining this property but who have their own external entrances.

Excluded Facilities

There are two doors that say No Access on them and they are internal entrances (however they have their own external entrance as well) for the permanent residents.
There is only one car parking space for this property. If more is required please let us know.

What the Host is expecting from their Guests

Other rules

Truro School staff have permanent residence within Poltisco House and therefore guests must conduct themselves with due consideration of others. Music or noise should not be audible to the permanent occupants of Poltisco House and specifically should be kept to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.
Boisterous behaviour likely to disturb other guests or the permanent residents is considered unacceptable. Truro School Enterprises reserves the right to ask those unwilling to accept these conditions to seek alternative accommodation.
Please do not access the hill up onto the school's main property during term time. Access is via the driveway and the front steps down to Malpas Road.
Any damages must be reported as soon as possible and are chargeable.
It is everyone's responsibility to ensure that the building is secure at night.
Fire Evacuation procedures will be stated within your welcome booklet in your room. Please read.
