Located in vibrant Cardiff Bay, this spacious double room offers a comfortable king-size bed, smart TV, mini fridge, kettle, and reliable Wi-Fi. The room is well-separated from the other bedroom , giving you a true sense of privacy—almost like having your own private area within the flat.
You’ll have exclusive use of the main bathroom, featuring both a shower and bath, and you’re welcome to use the kitchen amenities at your convenience.

The Area and Transport
The apartment is located in the heart of Cardiff Bay, with excellent local amenities, and superb transport links into the City.
The Wales Millennium Centre is directly opposite the apartment block — just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Stage Door.
With the WMC quite literally on your doorstep, there’s no commuting cost and no travel stress — just step outside and you’re there.
New Theatre Cardiff – Regular trains run from Cardiff Bay station, just a five-minute walk from the apartment. The journey to Cardiff Queen Street takes approximately 4 minutes, with the New Theatre located a short walk from Queen Street station.
Also number 6 bus takes you into the City.

The main bathroom, featuring both a shower and a bathtub, is for your private use and is located directly opposite the guest room. The room itself is equipped with a smart TV, mini fridge, and kettle for your convenience. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen and living area, which are shared with the host.
I split my time up north at my partner’s so at times you have the flat to yourself’s

Fantastic stay with a wonderful host. Incredible location for the Millennium Centre. Literally over the road. Nice view of the bay from the rooftop. Couldn't ask for more.

I loved staying with Leighton while i was in Cardiff, the flat is lovely and clean and safe! The theatre is over the road and that was fantastic after long days of rehearsals and shows! Leighton was really helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Cardiff. Thank you xx

A great stay. So close to the theatre making it an easy week. Lovely host. Room had everything you need plus your own bathroom. Mini fridge was a great bonus but you could also use the kitchen. Thanks Leighton

Had a great stay at Leighton’s. The location is amazing, literally across the road from the WMC. Really cosy room and Leighton was a good host. Would recommend.

This was my first time using theatre digs and I feel utterly spoiled! Leighton is a legend - warm, incredibly hospitable, so easy to communicate with. The flat is exactly as advertised: comfy bed, nice smart TV, great bathroom, and he was always happy to let me cook in his kitchen. If you're working at the Millenium Centre, it's door to door in 30 sec.
I may be coming to Cardiff quite a bit, and I would always hope to be able to stay with Leighton. He and his flat are brilliant!

Probably the best-located digs for the WMC. 2 minutes walk away from the front of the theatre (if that). Leighton was very welcoming, and so was Guinness. The room has everything you need (wardrobe, drawers, fridge, TV, etc), and the private bathroom is directly opposite the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay with Leighton - super close to the theatre and all local amenities on your doorstep. Guinness (his gorgeous little dog) is a star, and the flat block is secure and quiet. Would absolutely stay again :)

One of my favourite digs to date! Literally, 1 minute walk from the theatre, surrounded by restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The bedroom and bathroom 10/10 and comes with the loveliest host, also a solid 10/10! I’ll definitely return!

Had a lovely stay here whilst at the Wales Millennium Centre. Very friendly hosts and had some lovely chats too. About 5 mins walk from Cardiff Bay station, 2 mins from the theatre and right in the bay so lots of food and drink around. Comfortable bed, great shower in private bathroom just opposite the room. A small cute dog too, who was very quiet when coming in late at night. Would gladly return, thanks!

Leighton is a superb host. He's friendly, welcoming and respects your privacy. The flat is a one minute walk from WMC and is the perfect home from home. The bed is really comfortable and you have your own bathroom. All was immaculately clean and tidy. There's even a fridge and kettle in the bedroom, although Leighton is very relaxed about you using his kitchen as well. I'll definitely be back. I couldn't recommend these digs highly enough.

Lovely apartment and so perfect for the theatre. Leighton is a fantastic host and his little dog Guinness is gorgeous.

Was an absolute pleasure staying with Leighton Rafferty, The room was exactly what I needed and on a couple of evenings I got home and had a good chat (and perhaps a couple of drinks). Would recommend to anyone needing a room in the area! Apartment also comes with a very friendly small dog.
