Victorian terrace home . Cosy double south facing bedroom with garden view and bathroom next door,all on first floor. Use of kitchen for eating and preparing meals( no use of stove/ oven)use of :kettle/microwave/ toaster/ fridge/ food cupboard with cutlery/ crockery provided( all on ground floor) . Laundry room to dry clothes and washing line in garden (extra charge for use of washing machine.)

Free parking in the road and side road.
The Area and Transport
Easy 10 min walk from train station and bus station . Local corner shop for basic supplies and coop ,M&S ,Tesco , post office, market twice wk, lots of great walks or routes to run . 20 min walk to theatre through town . Plenty of takeaway or eat in choices . Beaches 6-7 miles on regular bus.

Just one spare bedroom on 1st floor for theatre guests with bathroom next door for sole use of guests. Use of shared kitchen for food prep/ storage/ consumption . I am mostly out at work so don’t usually see much of guests.

Other rules
Shoes off upstairs. Food to be stored and eaten in kitchen. Laundry room available to dry clothes. I may need to enter the room during the day to access the boiler / airing cupboard. Helpful if you could open the blinds daily so I know when you’re awake then won’t disturb you .Please strip the bed before checking out and empty the bin . Short stays are preferred as I now have family visiting more frequently with baby so need the room more often.

I’m non meat eater and like to live sustainably as possible. But no problem storing cooked meat in the fridge . I’m used to vegan lifestyle as my daughter is vegan . There is a microwave to heat meals but no actual cooking is preferred. I have solar panels.

It was an absolute pleasure staying in Fanny's beautiful home. It's gorgeous, very cosy, has everything you need and a nice, not too long walk to Chichester Festival theatre. Thank you for being such a lovely host!

Everything was fine, with an extremely comfortable bed. Slightly longer walk to the theatre than this old man expected but that was probably good for me. For any one considering booking into this accommodation (or any other) bear in mind that Chichester turn off their street lights after midnight!

Lovely place with a cottage feel. Just the other side of the train tracks so walking back at night felt a bit rough. I only saw Fanny on check-in, didn't run into her otherwise but seemed nice. I think she went into my room a few times? maybe to open the window? as I came back one day and my blind was up, but I left it down; and to collect a mug and pizza box another day, this wasn't discussed at any point so felt I lacked a bit of privacy. Aside from that it's a nice place to stay

Lovely digs! I had a great week in Chichester. Fanny was very welcoming and helpful. Great location too, just a short cycle to the theatre. And Pudding the cat is so beautiful!

Perfect guest . Considerate, Polite , quiet , clean , hardly knew she was here, barely saw her . Left her room spotless .
Loved staying with Fanny and the pets. Nice room with a really comfortable bed and my own bathroom. Really close to train/bus station and 20 minute walk to Festival Theatre.

Another absolutely lovely stay with Fanny. This is the second time I’ve stayed with her while at the Festival Theatre and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Chichester. She is such a great host, the house is gorgeous & the bed super comfortable!
