This location requires you to either drive or catch public transport into the theatre (plenty of cheap parking options in town but beware, someone backed into my car causing damage unfortunately). Otherwise, a lovely, quiet location, rolling green fields and a sense of tranquility. Some unfortunate issues with heating during my stay but the hosts did all they can to make my stay as comfortable as possible, with heaters and blankets etc. If you have a car, its a relaxing place to stay.

Jason and Kate were both welcoming and friendly. It's a nice cosy room and not too far to commute. I had a car so getting to the Arena theatre was really no trouble. Kitchen facilities were great. Thank you!

Lovely, quiet, comfortable double room on ground floor. Pretty much self-contained, in a nice, quiet area - about a 15 minute drive to the theatre. (A previous visitor mentioned the lock on the bathroom door, but it works fine now.) Barely saw Kate & Jason, except to say 'hello' and 'goodbye' at the start and end of the week, but they seemed friendly and helpful. Would happily stay again if in the area.

Lovely single room with a view. All on the ground floor with your own entrance. The bedroom is next door to the bathroom. It has a desk, wardrobe, a remote control mood lighting lamp and black out curtains. I had a kitchenette to myself with all the pots and pans etc you need. There is parking space on the drive. Two friendly cats and two friendly hosts. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely book this place. Top tip: make sure you try the local speciality - battered chips!

Had a lovely stay with Kate and Jason, really nice set up, with a little kitchenette area in the conservatory next to the bedroom to use. Comfortable large bedroom, with nearby bathroom. Pretty far away from the theatre, but plenty of car parks in the centre and easy to get to via the ring road, and a nice big driveway, so perfect if you're driving.

I stayed in the double room which is spacious and the bed is very comfortable! However the room has double sliding glass doors looking into the kitchenette which is not shown in listing photos, this makes the room lack privacy if you want the curtains open for natural light, and also there is no lock on these doors. The lock on the bathroom door is also faulty and unlocks when opening the door. If someone I don’t know had been staying in the other room, I would have felt very uncomfortable

I had a lovely stay here! Communication was great. Travel in and out of town was okay! 20-25 min bus or £10 uber. Felt like I had my own space, lovely chats with Kate and Jason! Real friendly!

Love room feels very private with back entrance. Great location if you have a far, not sure how it would be on public transport.

Loved it here. Had to get a regular taxi (you can get bus but need to walk)
Idyllic & pretty self contained. A little oven & hot plate was perfect. Highly recommend for wanting a lovely stay in the countryside. Hosts were great and friendly too

Had a lovely stay with Jason and Kate. The room was very comfortable and the self contained cooking area at the rear of the house was ideal for me. Easy drive/taxi into the city or a 15 min walk to the bus route. Would recommend.

Just spent a lovely week with Jason, Kate and young Cian. Friendly hosts with a beautiful house in a lovely rural location however still only 35 minutes door to door to Grand Theatre. Great value . Hope to stay again next time in Wolverhampton .

Lovely stay with Jason & Kate. Clean rooms, lots of facilities, private use of bathroom/bedroom/kitchen & own door entry. Kind & helpful hosts. Tranquil setting but not far from centre. Shops/pub/chemist nearby. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

I really enjoyed my stay with Jason & Kate, they’re in the countryside just out of Wolverhampton & this suited me well. Your own kitchen & bathroom is a definite plus. Great value, lovely couple. I’d definitely stay here again x

Lovely stay there, the room was great with a really comfy bed. Private kitchen and bathroom which was truly lovely + beautiful scenery, it's a bit far from the centre but definitely worth it. used my bike to go to the theatre which was lovely +++

Nice double room in a family house- mostly self contained apart from the odd washing or fridge/freezer use by hosts. 15 minute drive to the theatre (£20 NCP on Piper St for the week) Nice warm welcome and hosts on hand to help if necessary.

I had a great stay here. It was actually really nice to be a little drive out of the city centre (10 mins), surrounded by green. Not too sure on prices of taxis or bus routes, but £5 to park was definitely worth it. Thank you :-)

Lovely family and home, nice to have a separate kitchen and entrance. Better for early risers as it is a family home and noise can be heard throughout the house early in the morning!

My second stay here, a lovely almost completely self-contained place in a quiet countryside area. About a 15 minute drive into town. Great communication and I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Lovely hosts and digs in a beautiful setting. Feels self contained-(kitchen, entrance) so you feel like you have your own space. It isn't super close to the theatre but local cab was only £5 and there are 2 rooms so you can buddy up easily!

Lovely hosts and house fair value. Being at the theatre meant unless you drove it was slightly tricky to get in but definitely do-able. Would have been helpful to know there were children in the household as early wake-ups after two shows were tricky

Had a great stay here for our panto run. Hosts were chatty and very friendly. Having a separate annex in the house makes it feel less like you're trampling on the hosts toes all the time. I'll be staying again next time I come to Wolves!

Lovely location surrounded by fields. Brilliant to have our own section of the house as we could come and go without disturbing. Had a problem getting the shower to stay hot at night and were woken v. early by the children some mornings.

Anyone working at the Birmingham or Wolverhampton theatres, I highly recommend these digs. A great rural retreat, best to have a car though. separate from the main house and equipped to a high standard. I will stay again.

Great digs, the only downside for the room I stayed in was that it got really hot and as there is no windows, only French doors, you couldn't keep them open at night.

I had a great stay here, the view was really nice to wake up to. I didn't drive so took the bus into town, which was quick enough. The bus stop is about 15 minute walk away so if you do mind that it's quite nice not being in town. I would stay again!

A beautiful house set in a lovely location. Has the feeling of being self contained with a kitchen and bathroom, only shared if someone is booked in the other room. It's a little further out from the theatre so would recommend to someone with a car.

Kate and Jason very welcoming. Digs themselves are attached to the house so you don't feel isolated, but are pretty much self-contained, including a small kitchen with a toaster, mini oven and hob, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Ideal.

Perfect if you are happy to be a little ride/drive out and want your own space.

A small hob and microwave in the conservatory make for perfect independence.

I've just stayed here with Kate, Jason & little Kian. I loved it! Very peaceful.

Mini kitchen is basic but there's plenty of pots and pans etc. to be content with.

Double room was very comfortable and I slept deeply.... I'll definitely stay again!!!

I had a lovely stay here.

It was great to be outside the city, with peace and quiet and fields all around, and it was an easy 15-minute drive in to the theatre.

Kate and Jason were very welcoming but also great about giving me my privacy, so that the digs felt self-contained even though technically they're not.

If you have a car, then I highly recommend.

I'd been looking forward to staying here since I first booked. I certainly wasn't disappointed. What a lovely house and Jason and Kate are great.

If like me, you cycle or have use of a car, then Drivefields right on the edge of the countryside is perfect. I don't know about buses, because I didn't use them.

I had use of a "granny annexe" all to myself, though there are two bedrooms. A well appointed bathroom a kitchenette with microwave, grill toaster and two ring hob. Space in the fridge freezer.

I was very happy here and will most certainly try to stay here again if I'm in the area. The bed is currently Number 1 of this present tour ( 5 months) and with two to go, it'll take some beating. Take several alarm clocks. You'll need them as the bed wants you to miss the half.😸👍

I scored location as a three. I did this, because I don't know about buses back into the City. For me the location was 5 stars.

Just stayed here for a few days. Very nice people. Very nice room. Could come and go as I pleased. No pressure. Lovely countryside. Nice cat. Nice bathroom. Useful kitchen/conservatory/dining-room.

Accommodation feels as if it is self-contained, even though it is only curtained off from the main house. I had a key to the back door so I was less likely to disturb the hosts late at night.

I used my bike to get into the town centre - about 15-20 minutes moderate bike ride. I left my car in their driveway.

Highly recommended people and place.

Five stars says it all!

Just on the edge of the city, but far enough away to be very quiet and serene. Has the most wonderful view from the bedroom window ('Room With a View') especially on a winters morning.

Wifi, basic kitchen, parking for one car, perfect!

Lovely family, very accommodating and easy to get on with.

Wonderful stay and will definitely book here again!

Great digs in a lovely locale. I had my own transport so can't comment on buses etc... Kitchen is a bit basic but more than adequate and has a view that's a joy to wake up to whatever the weather!

Small room was fine, plenty of storage and again a great view. Lovely family and extremely welcoming and respectful of privacy.

I'd stay here again without a doubt.

Sits nicely outside Wolverhampton so it's very peaceful and green!

Access to a small oven, microwave and hot plate (small electric hob) means you can do some basic cooking.

Warm comfy and quiet, couldn't recommend enough!!

About a 10 min drive to the theatre - if you park in Pipers Row car park the gates are generally open by the end of the show so you park for free - if not stage door can give you a discount!
