Self-Contained

What does this mean?

The top floor is self contained has 2 bedrooms with double beds and a small bathroom and kitchen to share. The bathroom has a bath and a hand held shower. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove, microwave and fridge. . Blackout blinds in the bedrooms and central heating.

Guest Parking

We are residents parking only so parking is not available. We are reluctant to recommend areas which have free parking.

The Area and Transport

Bristol is hilly and the walk back from the Hippodrome or Bristol Old Vic is uphill and takes 20 minutes but is good exercise. Bus 72 from the centre to Myrtle Road is worth checking out but it's hourly.

I had a wonderful 4 weeks in Bristol staying at Sue's lovely home. I had the whole top floor to myself and it was very peaceful and felt very safe. The garden you come in through is beautiful and it felt like a real home from home. Yes it's a bit of a hill to get back up post show- but that's Bristol! And the shower is just an over the bath hand held one- but was totally adequate for me. Sue and Steven couldn't have been kinder- I hope to stay here again next time I'm in Bristol!
