Living with Host

What does this mean?

We offer you comfortable, quiet room with an ensuite shower/basin and toilet next door. There is a fully equipped practice space/music room you can use and you have full use of the kitchen facilities and garden.
This residential area offers a very wide range of useful shops, takeaways and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk. The vibrant Queens Rd offers eateries, independent shops and a small Sainsbury on the way to/from both De Montfort Hall and Curve.
We are a pet free household but pets are welcome to stay with us.

There is free on street parking.

The Area and Transport

Located in the very convenient area of Clarendon Park/Knighton there is free on-street parking and good bus services into the city. Several buses will also take you close to De Montfort Hall. We are a pleasant approx 40minute walk into the centre across Victoria Park and down New Walk to Curve or a 20 minute walk along Queens Rd and across Victoria Park to De Montfort Hall.

This space is shared with 3 Hosts.

Your ground floor, lockable room has an ensuite shower and basin. The toilet is next door to your room and there is a door you can close if you need quiet from the rest of the house.
There is a large fully equipped music/practice room beneath your room which is used by the family but is available to you on request.
You have your own fridge and storage space in the kitchen along with use of the cooking facilities and equipment, dishwasher and washing machine.
There is a pleasant garden you are welcome to use and space to safely store your bicycle if you bring it.

Excluded Facilities

There are 2 further family rooms on the ground floor and family bedrooms upstairs.

Had a great week with Sally. Lovely comfy ensuite room. I did get Ubers in and out but there is a bus and I think its about a 40-45 min walk to the Curve. Very friendly hosts, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Sally and Ian are really lovely hosts. There are buses from the end of the road to Curve which are pretty regular. The room is super comfortable, clean, quiet and the en suite is great too. I’d 100% stay again if I was working in Leicester!
