Living with Host

What does this mean?

I have 2/3 double rooms which all have wi fi , plenty of cupboard space and share a shower room with toilet. There is also a toilet cloakroom downstairs. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and there is a larder fridge and shelves for dry goods in the utility room. Guests can use the washing machine with a decent load to make it economical. The house is Victorian with plenty of character, warm and comfortable

Guest Parking

Parking is the the streets around the area where vehicles can be left indefinitely. Over 30 years this has never been a problem

The Area and Transport

My house is very central with no more than 20 minutes walk to theatres. In the Summer I have a lovely walled garden for guests to sit in and there is parking on the streets locally. The station is also within a 30 minute walk or obviously more quickly by taxi

I ask people to leave their outdoor shoes on a bench in the lobby for hygeine reasons. Guests may use kitchen but please leave how you found it. Everyone will have a key with key fob attached to use on alarm- last person to leave wipes fob across alarm setting to activate. This is for every one s benefit as security is important these days
